I have been teaching the English... language to people from around the world as well as to students living in English-speaking countries for over 20 years. I have an Honors BA degree in Comparative Literary Theory from the University of Western, Ontario, Canada. I am also TKT and CELTA certified from Cambridge University. My teaching methods are straightforward: I ask the student(s) what he/she/they need in order of priority, and do my utmost to deliver. I don't beat around the bush because I know students are frequently pressed for time. I excel in teaching Lower-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced students, but am also excellent at teaching Beginner students whose first language is Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, or German. The resources I use are all free and online, so you won't have to go out and buy any textbooks. Reliability = me. Regarding exam prep., I can certainly help students out, so long as they tell me what the exam is before our first meeting. This way I can prep. and provide a class that will help the student/students achieve their scores. No time will be wasted. I give a variety of important online English exam training, including IELTS & TOEFL. It will be my pleasure to assist you. Hello! I am Teacher Adan and I want you to speak and write English / Spanish. I have worked as an English teacher for more than 3 years with... different groups and ages. I have also taught private classes, prepared students for international certifications and improved speaking in one to one lessons. In my classes I involve my students with topics they are interested in, so that by the moment of speaking it is easy for them to discuss or give their point of view. I use technology to play games such as Kahoot, Google plataform, Charades, Quizizz and Kami. My students are always active producing and doing something so that the class is engaging and dinamic rather than only listening to the teacher. My methodology of work is based on having a learning environment where everyone can ask and participate in the language my students are learning. My main focus is to make everyone understand what I teach and how they can use in real life situations the content I give. My learning materials are a book updated with the latest methods while learning a foreign language based on Person's content, the on-line tools I mentioned before so my students can develop interactive worksheets, speaking tasks, writings or vocabulary games and you (my student), who is the key to develop a well structured class with learning purposes. I have an MA in English and French language and literature and I am a native speaker of Croatian language. I currently work as an English... teacher and I have 7 years of experience working with people from all walks of life teaching them both English and Croatian. I focus mostly on communication and using the language as a native would which in turn produces a very natural and fun way of learning a language. Of course we have to go through grammar as well but it will be in a seamless way without trying to memorize rigid rules and doing boring exercises.
