My country, Bulgaria, is a beautiful country with nice and hospitable people. It is an ancient land with a great history and rich culture. Having learned our language you will be able to get in touch freely with our good people and country.

I come from the town of Vidin, Bulgaria. I am a qualified English and Bulgarian teacher. I graduated back in 1972 from Sofia University with an MA in English Philology and Bulgarian Philology as a second subject. Since then I have spent most of my professional career teaching Bulgarian students.

First of all, we will have a 20-30-minute trial lesson during which we can get to know each other, set expectations towards the lessons and schedule the timetable. The next step is simple - we start learning the language of your choice!

I am TEFL/TESOL certified from the Asian College of teachers along with a specialization in Young Learners Program. I teach using the Grammar Translation method, Communicative Language Teaching, Community Language Learning,Natural Approach and the Lexical Approach. I believe in knowing the basics of English grammar and linguistics and preach the same to my students and young learners.

I use videos, audios and pictorial representations required in all these methods to facilitate language learning in young students. I have designed my own learning materials to teach learners up to the level of standard 10. These learning materials have been shown to enhance communication levels among learners and be proficient in English Language and linguistics.

I have worked as a lecturer of Estonian language and culture at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in Ukraine, at the Tallinn University in Estonia and in numerous language schools. Currently, I am a freelance linguist based in Berlin and teach Estonian online.

My name is Mariëlle and I am 22 years old. I live in Aruba. I graduated last year from the ITEPS course at the NHL Stenden Unitversity of Applied Sciences in Meppel. ITEPS stands for: International Teacher Education for Primary Schools. I followed the combined course where I was educated to become a teacher for both Dutch schools and international schools. During my studies, I have had a lot of practice teaching the Dutch and English language, since I had to do a lot of teaching practices at Dutch national schools and International schools all around the world.
At the moment, I work at a local school in Aruba. The instructional language is Dutch, but for almost all of my students Dutch is not their first language. This has resulted in me having experience with teaching Dutch as a second language.

My name is Nora and I am born and raised in Sweden and have lived most of my life within Sweden. I love cats and my interests are reading books, swimming and travelling.

I have a bachelor in social work and have worked in both Swedish and English speaking environments. For instance as a school counselor in an English speaking high school and as an English teacher in Cape Town in South Africa for kids.

I am studying Spanish myself at the moment and I know how hard it can be in the beginning with a new language. I also know how much fun it can be when you start to actually be able to communicate in your new language. I believe every new language you learn is going to expand your way of thinking and make you grow!

I can offer both teaching for absolute beginners in Swedish, but also if you want to develop the language skills you already have. I offer a free trial lesson.

It took me a long time to find my real passion in my (work) life. After studying in two universities, graduating in two bachelors, travelling the world and working abroad for several years I realized public education is where my heart lies. I went for the third time back to the university to get my teachers degree.

I have been a classroom teacher for 5 years in Dutch primary schools before I moved 4,5 years ago abroad to Colombia where I became specifically an English teacher. I am specialized in teaching in pre-, elementary, middle (secondary) and high school. I have been teaching in all different grades and all primary subjects in English and got specialised in Teaching English as a second language. Most schools where I have been working were inspired by the philosophy of 'Vygotsky'. 
A philosophy and methodology I also use in my private classes. Therefore they are dynamic and adapted to your personal needs.

Working in the Netherlands and Colombia in education and in several countries worldwide have allowed me to gain a variety of skill sets. These experiences also have provided me with the tools necessary for working abroad and online including adaptability, patience, dedication to my peer’s success, and respect for cultural and societal norms. Learning English as a second language from someone that is trained to teach the language like this and also once has learned the language herself as a second language (as my native language is Dutch), gives me a lot of benefits in comparison of learning the language from a native speaker.

I am Eric, a Canadian mother tongue teacher. I have been working for some time in Italy as a teacher in private schools for the preparation of Cambridge exams and in companies for staff training.

As a native speaker who carried out part of his training in Italy, I realized how little the ability to speak is used in the school system and how important it is.
I therefore offer conversation lessons only in English (with the exception of some particular customer requests). I was born in İstanbul and I lived there. I hold a bachelor degree in cinema and television at İstanbul Şehir University. During my university years, my stories have been published in major Turkish literary magazines. After my graduation I have been specializing in children's book illustration and literature. I founded children's book publishing house in Turkey. The name is Yıldız Tozu Publishing and my books were released. I worked as an editor-in-chief in the company. I was finding books in the world and I was publishing them in Turkish. I am practically and professionally working on Turkish language and literature. Later on, I moved France to continue my education and works about literature and art. Currently, I am learning french.

I have experience in teaching Turkish in years. Furthermore, I speak English very well (TOEFL B2) and French (B1) it is advantage for students who are beginners.

Here my methodology when I teach Turkish:

I will use the grammar books and my presentations, time to time.

For speaking practice: illustrations, daily conversations
For listening practice: Turkish songs, movies, series
For reading practice: news and articles about Turkey (for advance students), stories, picture books (for intermediate students), texts from language books (for beginner and intermediate students.)

If students need to focus specific area like writing etc. I am designing my class according to that.

In addition, it is because I am using broad material about Turkish media, you will be familiar the culture and sociology of Turkey.
