Hi! I live in Germany since 2014, I live in the Frankfurt am Main area. I teach German to refugees since the beginning of 2017 and I have been teaching Dutch at several language schools, at peoples homes and in-house at several companies. I passed the C1-level Test for German at the Goethe Institut. 

It is my goal to adapt my lessons as much as possible to the wishes of the student. This means that, besides offering regular learning methods, I am open to initiatives like talking about subjects that are of interest to the student, for example reading and discussing articles, watching and discussing educational videos and/or current happenings in the world.

Recently, the health situation has prompted me to leave my home country and start a professional retraining. Passionate about English since childhood, I chose to do the TEFL Course to be able to teach the language. Having just graduated with distinction, I would now like to move on to the next step of my apprenticeship : Teaching.

My first lessons will be based on the PPP method or Presentation-Practice-Production. This method consists, first of all, in presenting or having people guess the target language before giving learners the opportunity to practice it through controlled activities. During the last step of the lesson, students have the opportunity to produce the language in freer activities.

I will try, as much as possible, to give my students a way to discover the target language for themselves, based on their existing knowledge. Also, since the practice of a foreign language requires oral comprehension, my lessons will be entirely given in English.

I am Teacher Adan and I want you to speak and write English / Spanish. I have worked as an English teacher for more than 3 years with different groups and ages. I have also taught private classes, prepared students for international certifications and improved speaking in one to one lessons. As a result of my years of preparation and practice, I have got a university degree where I had the chance to teach subjects from my career in my senior year as well. My methodology of work is based on having a learning environment where everyone can ask and participate in the language my students are learning. My main focus is to make everyone understand what I teach and how they can use in real life situations the content I give.

My learning materials are a book updated with the latest methods while learning a foreign language based on Person's content, the on-line tools I mentioned before so my students can develop interactive worksheets, speaking tasks, writings or vocabulary games and you (my student), who is the key to develop a well structured class with learning purposes.

I prepare lessons for each student individually based on their specific needs for each language. For example: if you language need is Business English, I prepare your lesson on what you need to do your work. If your language need is to practice your speaking skills, your lesson will be based on themes that you are interested in. If your language need is to learn English from scratch, we will discuss a program to get you started from the beginning to when you can speak English with confidence.

I was born in South Africa and live close to Cape Town.  I speak both Afrikaans and English as native languages. I studied Human Resources and specialized in training. Hello everyone! I'm Marta, and I am an Italian teacher. Since the beginning of my career I have worked in contact with foreign languages and Italian. While studying to obtain my master's degree in "Italian language and culture for foreigners", I had the opportunity to work as an Italian language assistant in a foreign University. More recently, I held an Italian course for people who have just arrived in Italy.
My greatest passion is literature, which I avidly read. To pursue this interest I also undertook a post-graduate master in translation, which allowed me to become a Spanish translator and to explore the world of editing by doing an internship at an independent publishing house. I am also fluent in English.
The classes for my students are centred around oral communication and Italian grammar, so I put great effort to exclusively speak Italian and avoid using other languages. I personalise PowerPoint presentations for my students, and I regularly prepare weekly assignments to be revised during the following lesson, in order to encourage individual study. The first class is free and is centred around the interests and needs of the student, in order to create a personalized and engaging program.
