Hello, students of English! I'm an American who teaches English classes at a French university. I have a life-long passion for foreign languages. Apart from French, I also speak fluent Spanish and have an intermediate level in Portuguese.

Teaching my native language is not only a language exchange, but a cultural exchange allowing me to connect with people from many diverse backgrounds.

All levels are welcome, and we can work with whatever you want (conversation classes, writing, etc.) The first lesson is always free, and allows me to do a level test.

Hello! I am an English and Spanish teacher and a language lover.
At university I studied translation and interpreting in Spanish, English, Russian and French and have been a language teacher since 2013, which is something I love.

I have lived in France and have British and Spanish family, so speaking several languages is something I do and enjoy every day. I love conversation, grammar, studying new vocabulary and learning about the differences between cultures in order to learn from them.

I have taught privately, in academies, in primary schools and high schools and in companies, so I have experience in many areas and with all ages and levels.

I have prepared students for official Cambridge, Trinity London and Aptis exams, but I have also helped to prepare for exams specific to some university degrees.

I have also prepared students to take the Spanish DELE exam.

I adapt very well to the needs of each student and I make almost all the materials I use and adapt them to the specific situations of each student.

My name is Katerina, I’m a native Russian speaker and a foreign language teacher from St Petersburg, Russia. I’ve always been addicted to learning foreign languages, be it English, German, Spanish, Turkish or Arabic, so turning my passion into my job was just a matter of time. I have a Master’s degree in linguistics which taught me to understand the way the mechanism of a language works and thus to help my students see the logics behind the grammar rules. Being a constant language learner enables me to see the process from both sides and to predict the difficulties my students might face. The fact that I’m not a native speaker of English or German means I’ve been through exactly the same language-learning journey you’re about to take, and thanks to my personal experience as a student, I can make this road smooth for you.

I've had students of all ages, from pre-school kids to senior generation, and I feel comfortable working with both beginners and those who are eager to take their learning process to a new level. In my classes I encourage you to talk in the language we’re studying as much as possible, putting every single bit of knowledge into practice right away. If you’re a Russian-learner, I’d be glad to prove it to you that you can absolutely nail my mother-tongue - and yes, you’ll be able to make a small talk in Russian by the end of the first class even if you’re an absolute beginner! My name is Laura Borger and I am a qualified language teacher. I have been teaching Dutch to young and old for the past seven years.

Also, at the University of Leiden I completed the Master Linguistics and the Master Education.

I was born in İstanbul and I lived there. I hold a bachelor degree in cinema and television at İstanbul Şehir University. During my university years, my stories have been published in major Turkish literary magazines. After my graduation I have been specializing in children's book illustration and literature. I founded children's book publishing house in Turkey. The name is Yıldız Tozu Publishing and my books were released. I worked as an editor-in-chief in the company. I was finding books in the world and I was publishing them in Turkish. I am practically and professionally working on Turkish language and literature. Later on, I moved France to continue my education and works about literature and art. Currently, I am learning french.

I have experience in teaching Turkish in years. Furthermore, I speak English very well (TOEFL B2) and French (B1) it is advantage for students who are beginners.

Here my methodology when I teach Turkish:

I will use the grammar books and my presentations, time to time.

For speaking practice: illustrations, daily conversations
For listening practice: Turkish songs, movies, series
For reading practice: news and articles about Turkey (for advance students), stories, picture books (for intermediate students), texts from language books (for beginner and intermediate students.)

If students need to focus specific area like writing etc. I am designing my class according to that.

In addition, it is because I am using broad material about Turkish media, you will be familiar the culture and sociology of Turkey.

I like to do lesson in creative and in an organized way; therefore, I believe you will learn fast and you will enjoy learning Turkish with me!
