I speak several languages (English, German, French, Spanish) and I keep learning some (Polish and Portuguese) so I am aware of how fun and also frustrating (at times) the process can be.

Hello All,
It is nice to meet you and I would be more than glad to discuss your learning goals in a trail lesson of 30 minutes so we could know each other better. I have a level 3 award in Education by YMCA, where I have planned and delivered a lesson on the topic Bulgarian alphabet to English students. On the other hand I am currently finishing my study in Bulgarian Linguistics and Literature at the Sofia's university. I spent a few years in England where I have been a Learning assistant for ESOL classes, which is teaching English as a second language. I also have a degree from University of Sheffield in Business Administration.
Before starting the lessons we will have to do an assessment to see the level of the student. Once this is done and our goals are set, even if it is for a few lessons only, we will adapt the student centered methodology. The lessons will be interactive, with a participative style -grammar rules will be discussed, speaking , writing and vocabulary.

My lessons are based on conversations. My method is to help you practice the language from the very beginning in spontaneous and direct conversations, using often role plays.

My name is Monika and I am fluent Bulgarian and English speaker. I can help you to learn Bulgarian and/or English if you are a beginner or if you want to prepare for your exams in Bulgarian grammar. I am passionate about languages because I found it easy to study languages in general. I took my final exam in Bulgarian grammar and literature with A. I also graduated Glasgow Caledonian University, which of course required IELTS.

I would discribe myself as a very patient, supportive and highly motivated person. I don't like to put pressure on my students because the brain works better when the focus goes on the learning materials, not on the stress.

I want to help everyone, who wants to learn Bulgarian and/or English without any struggle.

Hello my Dear students! My name is Desislava and I am from Bulgaria. In 2017 I finished my Master`s thesis concerning foreign language students` motivation. It was a great and very interesting challenge for me to look for and find so many answers and helpful tips for me as a teacher on how to make my students` motivation bigger. Since 2014 to 2018 I was a teacher in English for the local university in my home town- Blagoevgrad. I am thankful to every single student that I have had so far because teaching is a process where the teacher and the students both give and take. I have learnt that patience is one of the biggest factors while being a learner and then a teacher. Before I became a teacher ,it is logical that I had been a student. I will always remember the best teachers that I had and I promised myself to try to be like them. I am currently taking care of my first child, so this is why I stopped working for the university. I have been a teacher for many years and I have worked for many schools, following different types of courses online or by companies. I also lived in the UK for 15 years where I graduated and worked as a biologist in London.
I use my own didactic material or suggested by the schools. I usually test the level at the beginning and then plan with the students the goals they want to achieve. After that with every lesson I check progress and points to review with the help of a log to have a clear plan in every lesson.

Hello! My name is Rhuana and I'm from Recife, Brazil.
I have a Languages degree (Portuguese and French) from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and I did a postgraduate course in Applied Linguistics to Portuguese Language Teaching in the FAFIRE. I also had the opportunity to study Didactics for Languages for six months in the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris.
Since 2011, I work as a teacher of Portuguese (as first and foreign language) and French and I’ve had experiences in schools, language courses, online lessons… So I have a large experience teaching both of them and I had the opportunity to teach students with different levels, profiles and goals. My lessons are dynamic, fun and prepared according to the student's objective and interests. Also, I believe that sociocultural aspects are extremely important in the process of learning a language, since it is, above all, social. Therefore, these aspects will be always present in our lessons.
