I speak several languages (English, German, French, Spanish) and I keep learning some (Polish and Portuguese) so I am aware of how fun and also frustrating (at times) the process can be.

I will be delighted to help you learn Bulgarian. I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I am passionate about languages; I am fluent in English and Spanish, Czech and Slovenian. I have helped many foreigners now living in Bulgaria to better understand and speak with confidence in their social environment. I am always interested in their motivation to learn Bulgarian and I adapt myself completely to the needs and tastes of each student. My teaching style is very communicative, I teach through dialogues, and real situations so my students start speaking from the very first lesson. I make my classes fun and enjoyable for all students, as I believe it is very important that the student enjoys learning, that they look forward to the next class. I have a postgraduate degree (France) in Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies and I’m currently a freelance translator. I’ve previously worked at universities in France and abroad (South Africa/Australia) and have a solid experience in teaching (French Language, Literature, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Creative Writing, etc.), designing courses, evaluating and guiding students, preparing students for exams/job interviews/professional presentations, managing a Language and Literature department at the university, presenting papers at academic conferences worldwide, publishing, translating and journalism. What will our lessons be like?

- MOTIVATIONAL: I can do more than just be your TEACHER, but also a COACH and a PSYCHOLOGIST concerning your studying process, and a FRIEND you will feel comfortable to talk with.
- HOLISTIC: We will develop all four skills: SPEAKING, LISTENING and READING throughout the class and you will practise WRITING during the homework. Writing is a powerful way to stop and think slowly and consciously to help you better understand the language patterns and find the vocabulary you need to express whatever you want at a relaxed pace.
We will work on PRONUNCIATION because it not only allows you to sound more natural and to be understood but to understand the foreign speech better.
- FUN and CREATIVE: I use a bunch of materials and activities and always try to find a way around CONNECTING my student´s interests and hobbies to the studying of Russian.
- FRIENDLY and RELAXED: I create a relaxed atmosphere, which will help you to express yourself with NO FEAR.
- VALUABLE and USABLE: I will use AUTHENTIC language using reduced forms, adapted to your current level because the INPUT should be COMPREHENSIBLE to make the study EFFICIENT.
FLEXIBLE: I am always open to your feedback so we will adapt the methods I use to your current teaching style.
INTERACTIVE: we will go through the vocabulary using real objects and/or gestures when possible.

- I am fluent in Spanish, English and Italian so it will not be a problem for me to use it as an Intermediary language with beginners. I will try to speak as much as possible in Russian with Intermediate students and 99% in Russian starting from around B2 level.

Hi! I live in Germany since 2014, I live in the Frankfurt am Main area. I teach German to refugees since the beginning of 2017 and I have been teaching Dutch at several language schools, at peoples homes and in-house at several companies. I passed the C1-level Test for German at the Goethe Institut.

Hi, name is Laura. I come from a small town near Manchester, UK, though I now live in Bulgaria with my husband and two small children. I am an avid reader of fiction and am also particularly interested in current affairs, politics, psychology and education. I teach English full time and thoroughly enjoy my work. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the Bulgarian countryside, cooking and learning Bulgarian.

Me as a Teacher
I am a qualified teacher with a BSc in Applied Psychology. I have been teaching English for 15 years and have worked with all ages and abilities. My lessons are very communicative and with a strong focus on speaking. I really enjoy getting to know my students and I try to incorporate their hobbies and interests into our lessons.
For the majority of my teaching career I have worked with teenagers and young adults. I have taught hundreds of young people and have found that they enjoy and respond well to my relaxed teaching approach. I am particularly well-suited to helping young people progress and have confidence in their ability.
