I started teaching in 2009, during my last year of university. I studied English and Russian and I graduated with the highest honors.
I collaborated with "Istituto Aleandri" in 2009, a private school, where I worked as an English teacher.
From October 2015 to October 2018 I worked for "the American School" where I taught both English and Italian classes.
I had students at all different levels. I worked in nursery schools, primary schools and secondary schools to teach English, and I taught business Italian classes in different companies. I had students from Switzerland, Mexico and India.
From June 2016 I have been working for "Language Land", an online teaching website where I have students from Russia, Brazil, Switzerland, China, Slovakia.

My lessons are interesting, funny and VERY interactive.
I use music, videos and radio interviews to practice the students' listening skills. I organize role plays (if I have more than one student) to let them talk and use the language as a native would.
I care a lot about grammar and phonetics and my goal is to let the students enjoy also the most difficult part of the language.
I am applying because I love this job: I can be in contact with different people around the world. It opens my mind.
And I love to be a "window" to my country. For all the people willing to learn Italian, I think it is nice to have a teacher who is able to let them love more than just the language, but also the culture and the country.

I’m an oceanographer (University of São Paulo) and I’ve decided to become a teacher, so I’m studying pedagogy (yes, I’m odd enough to change the beaches for the classrooms haha).
