I’m a Finnish language trainer in Helsinki, and I offer one-to-one lessons for people learning either language. I have four years’ experience teaching adults from all around the world with various backgrounds and vastly different levels, skills and individual difficulties.

My approach is both academic and practical. Having studied both languages independently as well as at university level, I am intensely aware of the difficulties learners have. I clarify things in simple terms that the student can understand. I explain how things work and why to ensure the learner understands exactly what’s going on and can use it confidently. I give ample opportunity to practice it actively and passively in tailored lessons with games, music, videos, writing exercises, grammar drills and conversation.

I provide most learning material electronically from my expansive library, but also purchase physical copies of textbooks for students when possible and necessary.

Degree in Teaching and in Geography and History, with certificate of French C1 by the Institut Français and by the Official School of Languages, I teach French and Spanish online since 2020.
I adapt to your level and your time needs, with maximum availability. I use my own materials and resources available on the internet, making the classes enjoyable and fun. I offer a free first class, do not hesitate to book it to meet us.

I have always enjoyed working with languages, culture, education and people. I am originally from Venezuela so Spanish is my native language and I have been living in Belgium since 2009. My degree as Master in Industrial Sciences is equated here.
I am a teacher and since 2018 I have been teaching Spanish to adults. I am able to boost the self-confidence of my students. My lessons are for absolute beginners (direction level 1 and 2), intermediate (direction level 3) and advanced (direction level 4). Conversation is also possible. I focus on the four most important skills: speaking skills; listening skills, writing skills and reading skills. And also on grammar and spontaneous communication.
Teaching and language are just my passion and I would like to teach it to others. I work with adults and seniors, but know that every person learns in a different way. I am an experienced and  teaching-passionate language professional offering tailor-made Croatian (all levels),  General English (Elementary, Beginner's, Intermediate & Upper-intermediate level) and Russian (Elementary & Intermediate level) Conversation lessons as well as Business English.
The lessons are structured according to student's needs with a variety of interesting topics.  A range of different teaching materials is used.  I tend to apply mostly visual aids as, according to my experience, they help students most in memorising new words and language structures. 
During the lessons we are focusing on further development of communication skills but we are also exploring vocabulary, grammar and culture. We read and discuss various texts, analyze grammatical issues, listen to conversations and songs, play games and quizzes and more than anything, we TALK!  That makes conversation lessons always interesting, useful and likeable.
