Hello,
I am a multilingual teacher with experience in teaching French to German, Japanese, English, Bulgarian and Italian-speaking students, etc. (levels A1 to C1).
I have been teaching French for 8 years in Luxemburg and now in Bulgaria for 4 years, to teenagers, housewives, businessmen, employees, doctors, etc. I can also help you with DELF and DALF preparation. I give lessons via Skype, Zoom and Microsoft Teams in several countries.
My teaching method for each class : a grammar point together with listening, a lot of speaking with conversation questions or games. While you speak, I write all the new words you need to express yourself, illustrated by pictures or translated in your language.
I do my best to make you feel comfortable to speak and for you to have a pleasant time. According to me, using humour will help you learn more easily.
Whether you need to learn French for business, integration in a French-speaking country or studying, I will be happy to help you. Do not hesitate to contact me for a free trial lesson.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Ciao a tutti!
My name is Laura and I am a freelance Italian teacher and translator based in Berlin.
I come from Bari - a small town in southern Italy - where I graduated in foreign languages and literature before coming to Berlin four years ago.
As a linguist and lover of the Italian language, I immediately tried teaching Italian, and I can definitely say that it was a successful idea :)
Me and my student we´ll deal with different kind of communicative situations and I´ll give them the opportunity to talk as much as he can in order to have the closest approach to the language.
During my years of teaching I noticed how often some linguistic skills are trained more than others/are preferred over others, giving less space to first and closest linguistic experience that certainly occurs with the speaking. This is the reason why my teaching method wanted to experience a change of course, that focused exactly on the student´s ability of speaking till the final analyze of the conversation from a lexical and grammatical point of view.
For the basic levels we start from the very first forms of conversation and speaking exercise, such as self presentation, describing an object or talking about one's hobbies or favourite book, with the grammar and vocabulary involved.
Once the student acquires a primary familiarity with the language, I´d let the student keep training with more speaking exercises, first with communicative situations in which we come across daily like ordering something in a bar, asking for directions or organizing a weekend out ´til he/she´ll able to express his/her opinion and to have pure and free conversation on various topics, such as nature, technology, the academic and working world, telling about his/her travels or even on actual world news.
On request I can even provide material on our funny dialectal forms, different from region to region :)
I´d be happy to support you in this learning challenge. Hope to hear back from you soon!
Sincerely,
Laura

Hello, my name is Juraj (George) and I am from Australia. I have a passion for teaching and although I am an engineer by profession I also have studied a course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I spent 2 years in China teaching children English in kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools. In my second year of teaching, I also taught university students and adult classes.
After learning so much about the local culture and making friends up there, I have realized, that I want to learn more about different cultures and went to Europe to teach English.
I spent 8 years over there teaching school children, university students, young professionals, and corporate business owners. I made a lot of friends at the same time.
Now I am back in Australia and because of the current travel restrictions, I would like to continue teaching online. What can I offer? Many years of experience teaching different nationalities, age groups, and educational levels.
I can improve your English pronunciation, IELTS test preparation, advise you on how to study in Australia, which university to choose, students visas advice plus fulfilling your individual English language needs, including English for engineers.
Also, I might be able to assist you with advice on travel, employment, or immigration issues.
I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers!

I approached Linda with the intention to eliminate the grammar issues I had in my written Dutch and to render it more idiomatic. On the whole, I am genuinely contended with the lessons I had, since Linda is one highly educated lady with a good feeling for linguistic correctness and elegancy as well as an understanding teacher. Highly recommended!

Hei, hei!
My name is Kristian, I am Greek/Norwegian and what I always wanted was to express myself & to communicate.
Living on a transit, made me realise that languages are the best way to make new friends, broaden your horizons and see the world from a new spectrum.
The key to master a language is to decode the culture behind that language & actively use it without the fear of making mistakes. No matter how much you're gonna read 'n' write, your #gainz will be eventually lost, unless you use it. Especially orally.
Have you ever noticed what happens, when you try to speak in the other person's language?
Have you ever noticed what happens, when you are visiting the country that uses the language?
And have you ever noticed what happens, when you try to sing-along in another language?
Learning a language seem tricky. All you need, though, is a little bit of accountability and a little bit of creativity.
For more information, just contact me :)
Enjoy your day,
Kristian

“I need to learn Russian because I work with Russians a lot, but many of them don’t speak English”.
“I often go to Russia for work, but it’s so hard to move around on my own! I don’t understand anything and I feel helpless”.
“I’ve been studying Russian for a while now, but I still can’t speak. I need more practice in conversation”.
“I’m studying Russian at college, but I need help to get ready for the exam”.
Do you recognize yourself in any of these statements? These are some typical things that I hear from people who come to my lessons.
People study Russian for all sorts of reasons. Whatever your needs are, I’m here to help you.
If you have never studied Russian, after my lessons you will be able to:
- read that mysterious Russian alphabet and understand a lot of Russian words, because, once the code has been cracked, they appear to be very similar to English;
- learn and use simple phrases of everyday use to communicate with Russians from the very start;
- understand Russian native speakers thanks to the use of authentic audio and video materials,
- write simple messages and emails in Russian;
- read simple texts and find the information you need even if you don’t understand every single word.
If you have already studied Russian and have some command of the language, you will be able to:
- improve your grammar;
- speak in Russian on different topics and gain fluency;
- write different types of texts (from text messages and greeting cards to presentations and essays);
- read and listen to different authentic texts suitable for your linguistic level, and improve your comprehension skills;
- discover the fascinating world of the Russian culture, from history and traditions to life in modern Russia.
Studying a new language opens a new world. Studying Russian opens the door not just to the Russian world, but also to other countries where Russian is widely spoken and understood, like Belarus, Ukraine, or Kazakhstan. Moreover, if you know Russian, it will be easier to study other Slavic languages, too.
So, why choose me as your Russian teacher? Here are some good reasons:
- I am a native speaker of Russian;
- I have more than 10 years of experience as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language and more than 20 years of teaching foreign languages in general;
- I’m very patient and I adapt my teaching style to the needs and the level of my students;
- I use a lot of authentic materials and I never limit myself to just one textbook;
- I can explain grammar in your language;
- with me, you can practice Russian in a friendly and stimulating environment, without any fear of mistakes. Making mistakes is human, mistakes are a natural part of learning a new skill. There are no votes here, so don’t be afraid to speak! The more you practice, the more fluent you become.
At our first meeting, we’ll be able to get to know each other, I will learn about your needs and skills, together we will prepare your lesson plan, determine the goals and choose appropriate materials.
Book your first session today and let’s begin this journey together. I hope to see you soon in my virtual classroom!

Hi, I am Christin!
After training as a pastry chef and studying business administration, I traveled a lot and discovered my interest in languages. To find out more about teaching languages, I decided on further training at the Goethe Institute and completed it. During the Goethe Institute "Learn to teach German" course I was able to give individual language lessons and actively support the examination preparation for the Goethe certificate.
My lessons are needs-oriented. That means that learning goals are discussed with you and based on your level of knowledge. Whether grammar, sentence structure, pronunciation, expression or the practice of communication situations: German as a foreign and second language classes are flexible and take place in a group or one-to-one lessons with individual support and are based on your wishes and requirements. The teaching of content and topics takes place according to the respective language level. Building vocabulary, grammar and means of speaking are structured and conveyed logically building on each other. Let's get to know each other in a free trial class. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Hello, Wie gehts? Ich heiße Anna! What can I say? Learning German language isn´t easy but I´m happy to say that I´ve chosen the right teacher for me. She is very nice and patient. She happily answered all my questions and explain things in a way you can understand easily. She gives you different homeworks in which sometimes I can´t submit on time because I´m currently undergoing surgery and therapy but she is so understanding about it. Now, I somewhat understand some German writings I´ve read without translating it, and i´m just so happy that I am making progress. Thanks Christin!

Dear future student,
My name is Mélanie, I am 40 years old, I am Belgian and I live near Brussels in Belgium.
I have 7 years of experience in teaching French as a foreign language. I have a degree in Modern Languages and Literature. I have an agrégation in higher secondary education. French is my mother tongue. Additionally I have a C2 level in Spanish.
I have taught adults (beginner - advanced) in various training institutions (CLL, CVO Semper, ...). I have taught both large and small groups. I can therefore adapt my teaching methods according to the number of people.
As far as my teaching methods are concerned, I create communicative exercises.
I always try to get the student to express themselves as much as possible. In case of groups, I create individual exercises, in groups of two or four.
I give homework in which the students have to write a short text related to a grammatical concept they have seen. I also give additional grammatical exercises.
I also test my students' knowledge. For example, during the course, I listen to my students and comment on their oral productions. I also do small listening comprehensions and reading comprehensions.
I can also explain certain grammatical points or translate certain words into the student's language if it is needed, but generally I always try to teach in the target language.
If my student is looking for a job, I can also help him/her to write his/her CV and cover letter and also prepare his/her interview.
If my student works in a company, I can also prepare exercises specific to the company's field. I have given courses to warehouse workers for Delhaize, to plumbers, to students in Tourism.
I also taught asylum seekers.
As far as teaching material is concerned, I use a lot of material from Zexperts fle https://leszexpertsfle.com/toutes-les-ressources-fle/ which I adapt to the objectives of the lesson. I also look for exercises in FLE manuals such as Totem, Edito, Alter Ego, Expression orale... Naturally, I adapt the exercises according to the needs of the student. I also look for songs in YouTube.
