TEFL-Certified professional with 20 + years of educating students in both state and private language schools. I own a TEFL Certificate as well as a Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education. Throughout my career, I have taken the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds. As a result, I remain sensitive to students´ individual needs, employ effective teaching strategies, provide individual and group support and offer positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students motivated.
My goal is to maintain an open, honest, communicative and supportive classroom, to make students feel safe and appropriately challenged. I also specialize in Cambridge, Trinity College and TOEFL examinations preparation at all levels. Teaching Business Communication to professionals is another area of my work. Some of my many strengths include clear, logical eliciting and concept checking, the accurate perception of different students needs and competent classroom management. Enthusiastic about my job, I am also committed and conscientious.

I am from Calabria, but over the years I have felt at home in various places. In each one I have searched for my way and in the end in each one I have found little clues that have allowed me to understand that I want to teach my language to those who do not yet know it.
I have always loved the word, its power and the infinite possibilities it offers; at first I only thought of writing it down but there was still something missing. What use is the word if it is not shared, if it does not become an opportunity for exchange between cultures, or better, between individuals?
So, between one suitcase and another, I graduated in Italian literature and specialised in journalism, then I obtained the Ditals II from the University for Foreigners of Siena and the two-year specialisation school as a teacher of Italian to foreigners at the same university.
I have been teaching Italian for more than ten years: in Italy in state schools, in schools for adult migrants (Cpia in Modena and Rome) and in public schools; abroad at the Dante Alighieri in Valletta and at the University of Cork.
I have a passion for music, cinema, documentaries and photography, different mo(n)es which allow me to learn and tell stories.
Step by step I have become more and more aware of how much I love this job which has given me the opportunity to meet wonderfully unique people, now very often friends.

    Lithuanian language is one of the Baltic countries languages. Some people are travelling to Lithuania, some of them are working or studying over there. So it's really good to know how to say very simple words, as hello, how are you, good mornng, thank you, you're welcome, where, how and etc. It's necessary because the main language is Lithuanian in that country 

    I am lithuanian and was learning other languages. So I can understand you very well, how do you feel in foreign country without language. You want to say something, ask or express yourself, but you can't. I would like to teach you. I like helping people and I have almost 10 years experience in teaching with different age people from different countries and culturies. I think so, that we will spent very good time. Don't worry about nothing. The best thing is your desire. We have don't forget just be patiece. When we are sowing, we think about future, because in few months we can see results of our work. That helps us work little by little.

    I would like to offer you lessons for beggners. In these lessons you will learn how to pronounce words, how to read. Also you will learn basic words and phrases and how to talk with another person in dialogue.

I am graduated in Foreign Languages and Litteratures and I have a II Level Master degree in Teaching Italian as Second Language.

I have teached italian to foreign people, above all adults at any age, in several NGOs and social cooperatives in the last 4 years.

How will I teach you italian? By playing!
I know that studying a language by reading a grammar book and mechanically completing the attached exercises can be boring and above all does not train your mind.

Learning instead should be a pleasure, so I like to use small funny videos, songs, puzzles and so on.
I also prefer the inductive method so that you can understand how Italian works on your own and then fix the grammatical rules together.
That way you’ll learn Italian without even realizing it!

But all this depends on you and how you prefer to study. I will be very happy to adopt the method that suits your case. The most important thing is that you get your goals with pleasure!
