Hi! My name is Mireia and I am a passionate of the English language. When I was 15 I moved to New York to know the language further and decided to study English Studies at university. My aim is to get all the students to love the language, to find ways in which English can be added into their daily life through entertainment, creating a nearly-inmersive environment.

I am Chiara an I am a native italian teacher. I hold a degree in linguistic and teaching italian as a second language.
I also hold CEDILS certificate in teaching italian as a foreign language.

I worked in an australian college for a year and I also have been working for three years in a language school in the centre of Florence with people from all the countries around the world.: Brazil, Cina, England, France, United States and many more.

I'll listen to your needs carefully and suit my teaching accordingly.
My aim is to help you learn for real. Surely, you need to improve your comprehension skills, but fluency has to be reached or ameliorated. Rhythmic contrast, intonation and pronunciation (IPA) should not be neglected because they are part of the language. I'll provide you with material, learning strategies and plenty of encouragement.

People who know me say that I'm respectful, competent and professional. This doesn't translate into a serious and boring method. To the contrary, I think learning should be interesting and enjoyable.

EXPERIENCE
I've been teaching English for about 18 years. I work with students, professionals and companies. General or business English. I was born in Scotland, but then I lived in Italy and in the USA, where I graduated in 1993. I live in Italy at the moment. I've been carrying out projects for companies such as Sephora, Sma Supermercati, Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport, GrandVision and Walt Disney, but I also enjoy teaching students and anybody who's interested in learning English or Italian.

I'm Giusy, I have a tremendous passion for languages and teaching is my main working goal. In my life, I have studied English, French, Japanese, Indonesian, Dutch, and my PhD major was Indonesian
I think studying is essential, but I think the most significant aspect of studying is the ability to share it with students.

I have a Bachelor's Degree from Vladimir State University with a specialization in teaching German and English languages. I taught ESL to children aged from 4 to 17 years old. My experience gives me a good vision of the proper methods in teaching. Passing my 168-hour TEFL course helped me to improve my classroom management skills.
I am convinced that learning foreign languages should be exciting. For this reason, in my lessons I use visual materials, handouts. I pay attention to the student's interest. Hi! I am Maaike, a Dutch primary school teacher. Every day I'm doing by best to teach the Dutch language well to the childeren, but also other languages ​​such as English and Spanish.
I have more than 12 years of experience as a teacher, in the Netherlands and abroad, to young and old!
In the Netherlands I have experience in each grade, so I know exactly how the Dutch language is given in primary education. First, I would like to mention that I have completed a course for teaching Spanish to foreigners, so I have already some experience in the field

I am originally from Ecuador and hence Spanish is my native language. However, I also speak English fluently because I studied my entire undergraduate program in the UK. During my time there, I also had the chance to work in my university and my role involved working with students from all over the world on a daily basis and help them to develop new skills, engage in extracurricular activities and even helping them to find internships and work placements. I also volunteered in a university society as a Spanish teacher.

I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world (I have visited about 20 countries so far)

Nowadays, I am currently developing an online magazine that focuses on tourism and culture, so if you want to learn more about Latin America I will be happy to share my knowledge with you.

Raised bilingually by an English mother and Dutch father. Lived, studied and worked in London.
Originally a classically trained singer and therefore have a sharp ear for pronunciation and vowel formation.

As a singer, I'm used to speaking and singing a lot of different languages (Italian, German, French, Russian, Czech, English, Dutch) and am used to working, and speaking English, with people from all around the world, which I like very much!
