My name is Anna and I graduated in 2016 from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona with a BA in English and Spanish Studies and a Master in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language in Universidad de Barcelona and Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

I worked as Spanish teacher in different languges schools and I also made collaboration as an Online Spanish teacher with Groningen University. In all my experiences as a teacher I have always tried to make students enjoy classes as much as possible so that their learning is positive.

In my classes I try to teach in a didactic way based on a more communicative approach although I always adapt to the needs of the students.

After the initial introductory lesson, I will design customised lesson plans that will evolve as you progress. We can also, at any time during the programme, change our working method if you wish to do so. I remain very flexible in that regard.

I've been living and working as a Turkish teacher in London for 5 years. I studied Turkish language and literature. I graduated from Kocaeli University in 2009. I have pedagogical proficiency and a Teaching Turkish for Foreigners certificate from Istanbul University.

I have experience at high schools and secondary schools in İstanbul/Turkey for 5 years.

All the collateral will be provided by me. I will give you homework after every lesson and we will check it together.

I use a theory book and an excercise book for my lessons, versions vary according to your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1). They're all published by Istanbul University and are called `Turkish For Foreigners`

I also use powerpoint presentations during my lessons. It makes it easier to understand the grammar rules.
My lessons are about grammar, listening, speaking and writing.

Lessons are interactive and fun as I believe a playful approach to learning a new language helps retaining information. Games and other devices such as cards will be be used during the lessons.

    Lithuanian language is one of the Baltic countries languages. Some people are travelling to Lithuania, some of them are working or studying over there. So it's really good to know how to say very simple words, as hello, how are you, good mornng, thank you, you're welcome, where, how and etc. It's necessary because the main language is Lithuanian in that country 

    I am lithuanian and was learning other languages. So I can understand you very well, how do you feel in foreign country without language. You want to say something, ask or express yourself, but you can't. I would like to teach you. I like helping people and I have almost 10 years experience in teaching with different age people from different countries and culturies. My interest in learning foreign languages has arisen since I was a young girl. At 13 I made up my mind to attend the foreign language high school where I graduaded with proficiency. After a few years I got my University degree.

I have been teaching for a few years privately via Skype Italian mainly to German adult students. My method is based to consolidate the grammar knowledge if previuosly done or to base it by catching their attention on interesting topics. I am Maria. I am a teacher of modern and ancient Greek with 20 years experience. I love teaching people from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds and I strongly believe in online language teaching as a very efficient method of learning. I hold a BSc in History and Archeology and a MA in teaching Modern Greek as a foreign language, both from the University of Athens. I have a strong experience as Exams Assessor on State Exams for the «Certificate of Attainment in Greek». I am currently teaching Modern Greek as a foreign language online at Avenues, The World School in New York, as well as to foreigners living in Athens, such as Embassies members and their families.

In my courses, I emphasize the importance of communication and the practical uses of language. I consider therefore communication as the most suitable approach, because it gives a lot of emphasis on realistic situations making the learner aware of how the language actually works (that does not mean that I don't give the same importance to the grammar rules and the syntax, especially to the advanced levels).

I have a deep appreciation of different learning styles and I am able to apply the corresponding teaching method to keep my students motivated and progressing at the right pace for them.

living in Japan to learn the culture and we had to use Berlitz method to teach, using sometimes pictures to introduce new vocabulary and others kind of tools for grammar...
The result is just amazing ! With that method , the students improve themselves very quickly. So now I am still doing the same and depending on the request, adapt the method. However, the main part of my lesson is based on conversation.
