Hi, I´m Nancy and I'm originally from Paraguay. I have a C2 level of English(proficient). I moved to the Netherlands over a year ago and my current level of Dutch is B1 (intermediate). I have over 12 years of experience teaching English to teenagers and adults at a language school. I currently work as a freelancer for a global provider of language training. I've taught General English as well as Medical and Business English one-on-one, to small and large groups. Once I find out about your needs, interests, and level, I will be able to select the right materials and design the right course for you.
We can either work with a textbook (plus extra-materials) or with my own teaching materials. I usually make use of videos, slides, worksheets, and other teaching resources.
We can use any platform of your choice, or if you live in or near Haarlem, Netherlands, we can even have classes face-to-face.

I come from the town of Vidin, Bulgaria. I am a qualified English and Bulgarian teacher. I graduated back in 1972 from Sofia University with an MA in English Philology and Bulgarian Philology as a second subject. Since then I have spent most of my professional career teaching Bulgarian students.

Hello guys! I've been teaching English for three years now, it all all started when I moved to Italy to be with my loving partner and become a father. I can teach any level form beginner to advanced, with your language goal in mind. I have more than ten years of experience teaching children and adults, in schools but also privately.

After each class my students receive from me extra photocopiable material and notes that I prepare for each specific lesson that we do. I use photocopies, flashcards, games, real life material (articles, songs, videos e.t.c.) and send my students internet links with games and videos that can enhance their learning.

I also give them extra homework for self-study and correct it out of the class. In that way, a lot of work is done individually and off the class so the progress can be very quick.

I have been working as Italian teacher for two years to migrants, for refugee centers and humanitarian corridors in Italy. I have had experience with first literacy and also I have worked with begginers and intermidiate students, who I prepared to Linguistic Certification. I have worked with single student and with groups.

My opinion is “Viva l’intercultura”, that means looking at the person’s linguistic needs. Italian lessons become a space where the cultures meet and match each other, and step by step, the student can build the Italian language. For me, the cultures exchange is very important.

I’d rather to teach with an inductive, interactive, and cooperative method, which focus on communication functions, but doesn’t forget the grammar. I use manuals, worksheets, interactive games, songs and video.
