My name is Eva, Hispanic Philology Degree and Master's degree in Teaching Spanish, and I have taugh Spanish for 14 years in language schools and for companies and individuals who want to live and work in Spain from very diverse sectors (businessmen, psychologists, video game designers, teachers ...), and people who wanted to learn the language by pleasure or to be able to communicate on their trips as well.

I can teach general classes, but I am specialized in personalized classes according to your professional and academic needs, focused on communication, conversation and pronunciation, to which I pay a lot of attention (many of my students come to my classes because they want to 'sound' more Spanish). The cultural component is essential for effective communication.

I like to work on explanations and communicative practice in class, and let the student practice exercises at home that I advise for him between sessions. Your learning can be deeper the more time of personal study and practice you can dedicate to it.

Normally I use a basic manual (I prefer the books by Prisma, the Edelsa publishing house) and complementary books on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, among others (Anaya and Edelsa publishing house are my favourite).

But the best thing is to listen to you and attend to your specific case.

Before starting the classes, I propose to have an interview to listen to you and understand your case, what you need and prepare our work together adjusting to your wishes.

I live in the south east of England with my wife and two teenage daughters. I studied Theatre Management at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and I am a TEFL certified English and Business English Teacher. I have had many years professional experience in both the media and education industries.

I have been teaching English online for the past 2 years and have accrued over 550 teaching hours on a part-time basis. My rating is consistently 9.96 out of 10 and I have been nominated as one of the Apps 'Best' teachers.

I have taught many age groups ranging from 6 to 40 years old. I have also assisted students with their CVs, IELTS practise, university personal statements and with their Bachelor and Masters essays. A number of students have had lessons with me throughout the past two years.

My main focus is to offer Business English classes to students looking for a level of English that suits their specific requirements. I draw up a 'Needs Analysis' with every new student which allows me to create tailored lessons to suit individual needs. I then devise a structured lesson plan so that students know exactly what they will be learning. I am passionate, positive, energetic and have a relaxed and informal approach to teaching which, I believe, brings out the best in every student and delivers effective outcomes. My broad range of interests provide additional sparkle to my lessons and I always want students to have fun whilst learning.

I am a certified TEFL teacher and have taught ESL for the past three years. I can help you become more confident in speaking the English language which I believe is one of the most important parts of learning a language. If you want to pass exams I can also help you prepare for them and create lessons focused on listening, writing, oral and reading. I love traveling and if you are interested we can talk about the difference in cultures or any known sites in that country. My name is Katerina, I’m a native Russian speaker and a foreign language teacher from St Petersburg, Russia. I’ve always been addicted to learning foreign languages, be it English, German, Spanish, Turkish or Arabic, so turning my passion into my job was just a matter of time. I have a Master’s degree in linguistics which taught me to understand the way the mechanism of a language works and thus to help my students see the logics behind the grammar rules. Being a constant language learner enables me to see the process from both sides and to predict the difficulties my students might face. The fact that I’m not a native speaker of English or German means I’ve been through exactly the same language-learning journey you’re about to take, and thanks to my personal experience as a student, I can make this road smooth for you.
