I will be delighted to help you learn Bulgarian. I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I am passionate about languages; I am fluent in English and Spanish, Czech and Slovenian. I have helped many foreigners now living in Bulgaria to better understand and speak with confidence in their social environment. I am always interested in their motivation to learn Bulgarian and I adapt myself completely to the needs and tastes of each student. My teaching style is very communicative, I teach through dialogues, and real situations so my students start speaking from the very first lesson. I make my classes fun and enjoyable for all students, as I believe it is very important that the student enjoys learning, that they look forward to the next class. Hi! I'm Andrés. I've been a language teacher since 2005. I'm also CELTA certified but more importantly, it's my experience as a teacher, as well as being a learner of Japanese (intermediate), Chinese (intermediate) and now Finnish (super basic, just started), that counts. I feel it's crucial to be in the students' shoes to better teach them and recommend resources, habits, and techniques that actually work.

My teaching methods include a lot of input through listening, texts, followed by guided practice based on the material. Grammar is taught in a complimentary way, but the main focus is input and communication. I follow CEFR topic order so that students can see how their knowledge scaffolds along.

The materials are picked from the internet depending on the student's needs and interests, be they work, travel, study, or just for fun. I like to include videos about different topics like culture, business, life hacks, news, interesting facts, science, love and relationships, among others, with intermediate/advanced students, and communicational dialogues with beginner students.

I am a grammar freak and that would make me a terribly boring teacher if I didn't also loooove to chat about everything possible. So I find it quite easy to find a good balance between theory and praxis.

I love people, that is why I am a teacher: I will love to know more about you, about your interests and your culture, as well as sharing mine with you.

I am also known among my students to make the best recommendations about series, films, books, and events to keep improving your Spanish in a fun and relaxed way.

A little more serious info: I am an Online Spanish Teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching privately, in High Schools, Language Schools, and online. I am also a certified DELE Examiner.

I am a language learner too: I speak German, English, a little bit of French and I am currently learning Japanese. Thanks to this experience, I understand perfectly the difficulties and needs of my students and I adapt to them so that you can make the most of each lesson.

And the important stuff: I live in Austria, have two dogs and a toddler; I love reading, traveling and cooking; I am a Hufflepuff; I try to keep my beautiful plants alive; I collect stationery stuff; I love learning new things and when I start a series I love, I have a huge urge to finish it as quickly as possible.

I come from the town of Vidin, Bulgaria. I am a qualified English and Bulgarian teacher. I graduated back in 1972 from Sofia University with an MA in English Philology and Bulgarian Philology as a second subject. Since then I have spent most of my professional career teaching Bulgarian students.

First of all, we will have a 20-30-minute trial lesson during which we can get to know each other, set expectations towards the lessons and schedule the timetable. The next step is simple - we start learning the language of your choice!
