My name is Oscar, I´m from Bogota, Colombia but I had the opportunity to study and work in the US and Europe. I´m a certified TEFL/TESOL, Train the Trainer, Hospitality Business Administrator. At the moment, I´m getting a Google Project Management certification.
I´ve worked as an Asst F&B Manager, F&B Manager, Asst. Hotel Manager, Corporate Trainer in the hospitality industry in different countries (U.S., South America, French Polynesia -Tahiti…). I´ve also worked for the major airline in my home country (Avianca-Taca) as a Coordinator in the Flight Attendants Operations School. At the moment, I´ve been working as an online languages trainer at Learnlight, an important Language teaching multinational company.
I love exercising, swimming, hiking and exploring nature. Cooking, photography and learning about cryptocurrencies are also part of my hobbies.
I have a communicative and practical approach to teaching, engaging students in discussions, presentations and topics related to their business or industry. I analyze their speech, grammar, pronunciation, use of expressions, idioms, etc and provide a detailed academic report so students can work on their mistakes and make improvements.
I use a lot of online, up-to-date materials and resources that help students get a lot of information to prepare and study for their lessons.
