Hello! My name is Claudia, and I live in Rome, the Italian capital. Here, I earned a degree in Modern Languages for International Communication, with specializations in English and Chinese linguistics, and I developed strong skills in teaching second languages through my experiences as an Italian L2 instructor. During my studies, I completed an internship in an elementary school, helping Chinese children learn Italian, and I continued to teach Italian through volunteer associations and private lessons.
I am accustomed to teaching people from diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups, and I find it especially rewarding to work with children. In fact, I also teach English to children aged 3 to 6 at a school.
In my teaching, I use interactive materials like videos, songs, and educational games, in addition to PDFs and online whiteboards, to make learning dynamic and engaging with a communicative approach. I believe it’s essential to experience the language: not only to learn grammar, but also to discover authentic, spoken Italian. I integrate images, stories, and curiosities about Italian culture into the lessons, from art to cuisine, music to cinema, to show how the language is intertwined with the Italian way of life.
Every student is unique, so I personalize the course according to each individual’s needs and interests, offering tailored lessons for every level. As a native Italian speaker, I am committed to creating a stimulating learning environment that adapts to the needs of each student.
