Hello. My name is Michael and I'm an English tutor from London but currently living in Budapest. I have a degree in English Language and Literature, and TEFL certification. I've been teaching English to learners from A2-C2 levels for almost 10 years now and I have loved every minute.
So, why should you choose me as your English tutor? Well, the purpose of learning any language is to be able to communicate. Obvious, right? But often, language learners are afraid of saying something because they are worried about making a mistake. So, in my lessons I focus on introducing and exploring new vocabulary through discussions and dialogues on different topics, and encourage my students to express themselves as much as possible, mistakes included. This not only develops their conversational skills, but also gives them the confidence to communicate in English.
One of the things I enjoy most about teaching English is when a student excitedly tells me that because of my lessons they were able to confidently communicate with someone, whether at work or in social situations without the problems they experienced before.
