Hello there!
My name is Kaitlynne!
I hold a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology, a 168 hour TEFL and I am a registered Foundation Phase Teacher (Grade R - 3). My experience ranges from my undergraduate studies in Dramatic Arts, being a teacher’s assistant, remedial teacher and foreign language teacher to students from China, Czechoslovakia, Costa Rica and Brazil. I’ve taught both adults and children and I am bilingual, speaking English (Native) and Afrikaans and I am currently continuing with my Mandarin Language studies.
I am a very patient teacher who encourages my students to make mistakes as that is how we learn. I enjoy using props, songs, pictures and TPR (total physical response) for children's classes and use a student directed approach in my classes.
