Hello students! My name is Lelethu, pronounced as Leletwo. I am from South Africa, I have a fashion design degree. I am currently living in the most diverse city in Africa, called Johannesburg. I have 3 years of teaching English and I have lived and worked in South Korea for two years teaching English as a Foreign language. In addition,I have a TEFL certificate with 140 hours. In our classroom setting, the main objective is to create an easy going and friendly learning environment, fundamentally engaging in training, monitoring skills of accuracy and fluency. In our classroom I encourage and carry out conversational lessons, emphasising on correcting sentence structures and pronunciation. As well as develop students confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I will further, present the lessons in powerpoint presentation and give hand outs in pdf format, educational games, activities, Visual aids and audios.
My teaching style can be best described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice of their own the classroom. Through the years of teaching English, I have grown into an "analytical teacher" learning how to align teaching lesson that are suitable to the students individual needs. This style of teaching allows me to build lessons with an intentional and a more creative approach. Which creates an environment that is going and comfortable for each student.
Lastly, I am looking forward to meet you and help you achieve your ultimate goal in learning English.
