About Me
My name is Beverly Uhm.
I was born from the capital of the Philippines, Manila and currently living in South Korea.
I am a native Filipino speaker and I can speak in English fluently.
I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Economics.
Also, I worked as a translator and interpreter of English to Tagalog language for 5 years.
So if you want to learn Tagalog, be my student.
Mabuhay! Kung ikaw ay interesado na mag-aral ng Tagalog,
pwede kitang turuan upang malaman mo ng mabuti ang aming lenggwahe
at matutunan ang masayang buhay at kultura ng Pilipinas.
Currently, I am studying Korean Language Level 3 in
Korea Immigration and Integration Program or KIIP.
I can read and write Korean basically and
I am expounding my knowledge on the grammar and vocabulary.
I am having fun learning Korean culture as well.
So if you want to learn basic Korean, I would love to become your tutor.
I love reading, singing and I have a great interest in art, crafts and embroidery.
Me as a Teacher
As a teacher it is my duty to lead students and my aim is to
always help students develop their understanding of new ideas,
develop speaking skills and abilities,
positively talk in the language that they learned
with other people and build their confidence.
In my class, I work with wonderful enthusiasm and positivity.
I am very patient and understand the concerns of the students.
I’m interested in many different topics
I’m happy to focus on my learners’ goals.
I know that learning languages may a bit difficult at times
because I also experienced it,
but I want to motivate my students to learn with enjoyment and smile.
Learning is best, when learning is fun.
My Lessons & Teaching Style
My teaching methods includes flexibility and adaptive teaching,
so I can teach you English in the level that you set throughout the study journey.
Since I graduated in a business linked course,
I can also help you improve your communication by taking Business English.
I can help expand your skills in the different focus of the language
like grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing.
Enhancing speaking skill may vary depends on the student’s concentration
like informal or formal conversation practice.
We can also discuss interesting themes like culture, hobbies, events and even social issues.
