Welcome to my class! You are only a step away from beginning a wonderful journey to the Greek-speaking world with me. My name is Benedict, I am a native speaker of Greek, as well as a linguist and Greek language specialist by profession, with doctoral studies on language, brain, and cognition.

Teaching Greek is my passion. In my classes, I offer individualised teaching plans tailored to my students’ own needs, also including preparation for the official exams for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek. I use state-of-the-art textbooks that place COMMUNICATION in the centre of our learning goals, and I apply INTERACTIVE METHODS as the fundamental means to achieve these goals. What I regard as an advantage is that my approach to language diverts from old-fashioned philologist practices and effectively incorporates contemporary knowledge from linguistics, the scientific study of language. In my classes, you will enjoy learning Greek through lots of conversation, fun activities, and games, alongside my focus on the most critical language skills: comprehending and producing oral and written speech.

You can expect boundless patience and determination, absolute professionalism, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. My classroom is open to people of any age and any level of Greek knowledge who fancy learning or improving their skills in the Greek language.
