Hello welcome! My name is Vera Bahiense, I am Brazilian, graduated in Letters (Portuguese / English) and doctor in Portuguese.
I have 35 years of experience teaching Portuguese as a mother tongue, including the language of inheritance, and for foreigners, from basic to advanced. In addition to teaching the language, I develop works with Brazilian literature, music and culture. My accent is neutral, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, but I have knowledge and experience in dealing with the differences between two regions of the Northeast and North of Brazil, as I lived for 10 years in those regions.
I have experience and specialized material in teaching Portuguese to English speakers, with an American, British, Canadian and Australian accent. I actually have students from those countries, as well as from Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Serbia, Colombia and Ireland,
I use all kinds of material: books, digital platforms, applications, music, literature, social media, TV series and films, always looking for the smallest, or almost no extra material cost for my students.
My students have complete extra-class service, to correct activities, as well as to update the topics covered in class, after all, the language brings us news every day.
