I'm a CELTA qualified teacher with over 14 years experience of teaching English to adults and teenagers. I'm Scottish, I live in Edinburgh but I have a neutral English accent.

As well as teaching I write history books and I am also learning French.

I specialise in focussing my lessons on the specific needs and goals of my students. Whatever you want to achieve in English I'm here to help you do it.

I think the most important thing when learning online is that we maximise the time we have together in the class. So I often give my students things to do before our next lesson, perhaps an article to read, a quick exercise or a video to watch. This way we can focus on the important things when we meet but still help you improve every part of your language.
