Planned, prepared and delivered English lessons to classes of various age groups with a wide range of skill-levels. Developed tests, examination papers and exercises to test students' comprehension of subject matter. Evaluated and provided useful feedback on oral and written work. Devised, authored and produced new instructional materials, including audio and visual resources. Developed tailored lesson plans utilizing a broad range of techniques and strategies addressing all aspects of communication that develop a student's ability to read, write, speak, and listen. Administered academic and language assessments to evaluate student progress in language acquisition and achieving academic learning targets. Utilized extensive international exposure and education in order to teach students with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. Managed classrooms in order to address different students' capabilities. Used differentiated instruction to successfully improve students' learning potential.
I taught ESL to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds in Macedonia for eight year. Before stepping into this role, Through my teaching experiences, I developed critical pedagogic and classroom management skills, along with a passion for teaching English.
I scaffold my lessons so that they include pair and group work, as well as movement around the classroom. By engaging students in speaking, grammar, writing, listening, and reading and appealing to diverse learning styles, I help them improve their accuracy and fluency across key skill areas.
