Fun Canadian Teacher

HI! I love teaching language and getting to know students from all parts of the world, sharing our cultural differences. I'm Canadian and live near beautiful forests, mountains, sea, rivers, and lakes. Sometimes I travel and currently I am in Europe. I have taught English learners whose first language is Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic, German, French...and a few more.
I teach all levels of English and Beginner or beginner-intermediate levels of French.

My lessons are designed for your needs and may include reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. It's YOUR lesson, so you tell me what you prefer and I will make sure to do that for you. You also may choose topics to suit your interests and needs. If you prefer to talk about food, your love life ;-) …whatever you like is ok. I’m here to help you to be comfortable and accurate when using English and French if that interests you.

Practice makes perfect! We can use videos, games, role-plays and much more.

I am an enthusiast of fitness and health. I can tell you about living in Costa Rica, doing tai chi, or choosing the healthiest foods if you like! Deeper discussions are fine if you can handle it.

I have a Masters of Education degree and Advanced diploma in teaching English as a Second Language and have enjoyed teaching individual and group classes online and in-person for many years. I hope to continue for many years to come and look forward to meeting YOU, my newest student.
