I live in the south east of England with my wife and two teenage daughters. I studied Theatre Management at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and I am a TEFL certified English and Business English Teacher. I have had many years professional experience in both the media and education industries.
I have been teaching English online for the past 2 years and have accrued over 550 teaching hours on a part-time basis. My rating is consistently 9.96 out of 10 and I have been nominated as one of the Apps 'Best' teachers.
I have taught many age groups ranging from 6 to 40 years old. I have also assisted students with their CVs, IELTS practise, university personal statements and with their Bachelor and Masters essays. A number of students have had lessons with me throughout the past two years.
My main focus is to offer Business English classes to students looking for a level of English that suits their specific requirements. I draw up a 'Needs Analysis' with every new student which allows me to create tailored lessons to suit individual needs. I then devise a structured lesson plan so that students know exactly what they will be learning. I am passionate, positive, energetic and have a relaxed and informal approach to teaching which, I believe, brings out the best in every student and delivers effective outcomes. My broad range of interests provide additional sparkle to my lessons and I always want students to have fun whilst learning.
