SPANISH TEACHER(MORE 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

Hola:

My name is Manuel Rodríguez and I am from Madrid. I am a Spanish teacher with more than ten years experience. I hold a Master Degree of Teaching Spanish and a Honours Degree in Spanish Philology.

I have experience in places such as Queen's University (United Kingdom), adult education centers, schools, banks and embassies. In all these places consider I am a brilliant tutor and I have passion for teaching. References available upon request.

I have experience working with groups from all ages and I have learnt how to create humble and good relationship with students and promote an atmosphere which provides learning and trust. I am proficient in classroom management, as well as use of modern teaching techniques.I also have an in-depth knowledge of creating an interactive atmosphere for students in order to expedite learning

For me, being a Spanish teacher is more than a job. Many times is discussed if a teacher is born or not. I think I have both requirements. For one hand, enthusiasm and patience when I am teaching and for the other, I am skilled at employing a variety of teaching strategies in accordance with students' needs and I have an in-depth knowledge of grammar and Spanish culture.

Regarding teaching method, I am skilled at employing a variety of teaching strategies in accordance with students' needs. For this reason, I use an ecclectic approach. I think this is the best approach for teaching because I can make decision on the basis of what seems best for the student instead of following an style. I use a wide range of materials in my lessons.

As a Spanish tutor I have designed, taught and marked courses for adult learners at every level of Spanish. For each of my classes I adapt, arrange and design the materials to match the level and the interests of the student.

Throughout the lessons , I give each student feedback on their progress, attend to their specific needs, and provide encouragement.

I email the class notes to every student and encourage them to make contact if they have any specific questions or doubts.
