Online English Teacher

Hi, I'm Jody, a Level 5 TEFL Certified online English teacher with over a year's experience. I concentrate mainly on conversational English as I have found, from personal experience, that this is the easiest way for a student to acquire a new language, having learnt to speak Afrikaans like a native speaker in this very way.

Having learnt another language myself, I know from personal experience the challenges that may arise and am able to assist you with these. I'm patient, kind and very easy to get along with and since I'm a native English-speaker, I will be able to assist you in improving your grammar and pronunciation skills and expanding on your vocabulary. I can help determine where you may be lacking in knowledge, identify your weaknesses and transform you into a proficient English speaker able to communicate with absolute confidence.

I have taught English to various age groups, from kindergarten to high-school, as well as university students. Over the last year, I have taught both English and Afrikaans online, helping my students on their journey to mastering their new language in a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
