I have a bachelor's degree in literature and a master's degree in teaching Italian for foreigners. I am currently giving private Italian lessons for beginner level children, I have 5 months experience in teaching Italian L2 in Italy and two months in teaching Italian LS abroad thanks to an internship at the Dante Alighieri Society in Luxembourg.
My teaching method is focused on the needs and expectations of the student, on the development of communicative but also pragmatic, social and cultural skills, for a 360 degrees knowledge of Italian. My lessons are mainly based on the use of different types of texts in Italian (even movies and songs!) and on activities of various types, even playful ones: you have to learn while having fun!
The didactic material used depends on the type of student and his/her motivation to learn (in Italy or abroad, for work or pleasure...), it is based on textbooks but also on other support material and activities created ad hoc.
