My name is Alma and I have conciderable experience teaching nearly all ages and levels. My philosophy of teaching foreign languages is based on... the simple fact that learning a language can be something realy fun if you find the best metodology to do it. My teaching methods are based on various ways of transfering knoweledge that depend primarily on the student's age, and I love being able to help people to speak English more fluently. Actualy, my very first work experience with children was 10 years ago in London, where I have lived for a while and where I have worked as an Au Pair and an educator as well. I have worked for over 5 years as a teacher as well as a proffesional translator into multiple languages - English, Serbian and Turkish. I was awarded with a full PhD Schollarship by the Turkish Goverment and I had the opportunity continue my education at Marmara University in Istanbul where I also lived for several years. I am a trained high school teacher qualified for adult education with 12 years of experience in the field of gender and culture. I can help to... solve various learning problems. I have recognized diplomas as well as certificates and, last but not least, I have attended alternative learning programs without obtaining any certificate. Especially these seminars without certificates have helped me a lot to plan my life as well as possible and to try everything I want to do. My languages are Serbian / Croatian / English / German. I learned German as a second / foreign language and also work as an interpreter. My trial lesson plans to get to know the potential learner first. We have a first conversation in English/German.
