Ciao. My name is Sara and I am here to use my 10 years of teaching experience to help you succeed in your dream. For the last 4 years I have... been teaching Italian language to students in a top 3 Pontifical University in Rome, Italy. I was born in Rome, Italy and I graduated from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, with a degree in Asian Studies and Cultures. I hold a Master in Teaching Italian Language: Didactic Methods and Techniques. In 2006 I moved to Japan where I worked as an Italian teacher for two years. I also have Ditals II, Teaching Italian as a Foreign language Certification. I prefer to speak Italian during my lesson even if my students are beginners. So it means that you'll speak Italian since the first lesson :-) I use different platforms such as: Classkick Wordwall Kahoot and Google Classroom where you'll find the materials we use during the class and assignments for the next class. I’m a passionate Italian food and art lover so whether you're reading biographical information about the brilliant painter Caravaggio, or figuring out how to cook some of your favorite Italian dishes, learning Italian with me is simply essential. I am proud of my culture and I love to share my language and upbringing with my students. Read more

I am a certified teacher of Italian as foreign language and I have a long experience in teaching . I have had many satisfactions in my work,... probably because I put passion and competence into it. I think each student must feel motivated and i take great care of the various forms of teaching adapting different methods to individual needs. My added value? Competence and empathy, it's nice to give the tools to students who quickly speak my magnificent language. When students ask me: "How long will it take to speak Italian?" , : "will I be able to write in Italian?" My answer is always the same: "The sooner we start, the sooner we will know" Read more

I graduated from Sapienza University of Rome and I have a “Laurea” degree (Old Italian university system-4 years) in Foreign Languages and... Literatures (Japanese and Chinese) , a teaching qualification (Ditals II) and more than 20 years of experience teaching Italian to individual and groups in Italy, Japan and Australia. I organize my lessons, plan my activities and develop my management approaches by considering the learning styles, abilities and needs of my students. I don't teach just grammar in a traditional way but I try to provide opportunities for my students to engage in real-life communication in Italian. I believe that it is important for a foreign language teacher to inspire confidence in his/her students in order to make them feel comfortable expressing themselves regardless of their level of ability. My teaching is careful, considered, passionate and energetic. I believe very strongly that teachers who demonstrate curiosity and passion about the topic motivate students to learn and somebody should only teach if they enjoy doing it. My teaching evolves with my continuing experience in the classroom. For me it is a learning activity and I have learned from my personal successes and failures. I love teaching, and I am constantly amazed by what I learn from my students. Read more
