Ciao. My name is Sara and I am here to use my 10 years of teaching experience to help you succeed in your dream. For the last 4 years I have... been teaching Italian language to students in a top 3 Pontifical University in Rome, Italy. I was born in Rome, Italy and I graduated from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, with a degree in Asian Studies and Cultures. I hold a Master in Teaching Italian Language: Didactic Methods and Techniques. In 2006 I moved to Japan where I worked as an Italian teacher for two years. I also have Ditals II, Teaching Italian as a Foreign language Certification. I prefer to speak Italian during my lesson even if my students are beginners. So it means that you'll speak Italian since the first lesson :-) I use different platforms such as: Classkick Wordwall Kahoot and Google Classroom where you'll find the materials we use during the class and assignments for the next class. I’m a passionate Italian food and art lover so whether you're reading biographical information about the brilliant painter Caravaggio, or figuring out how to cook some of your favorite Italian dishes, learning Italian with me is simply essential. I am proud of my culture and I love to share my language and upbringing with my students.

Hi! I am Sara, I live in Barolo, the home of wine, and I have been teaching Italian to foreigners in Piedmont and online for over 20... years. After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature (I speak English, German, French and Spanish) I took a master to become an "Italian Language for Foreigners" taecher. Having learnt 4 languages myself, I know how difficult it is! But in the meantime I discovered the most effective trick for learning vocabulary and sentence structure quickly: the socalled 'natural method'. How does it work? I immediately speak (almost) only Italian with my students! It is a true full immersion into Italian language and culture where with the help of songs, recipes, magazines and advertisements we learn even the most complicated grammar rules. Dont get me wrong: I love grammar but I want it to be fun! Want to speak Italian like an Italian? Contact me! Punto e basta :D. See you soon! Sara

I am not an improvised teacher, but I can improvise. PERSONAL STATEMENT I simply love foreign languages and cultures! In my career I have... studied English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Russian. Though only for a month, it still counts! I am fluent in English and almost there in Spanish. I have good command of Portuguese and can get away with French and German. So, if you are a beginner in English or Italian I can help you in your mother tongue (if it's one of those mentioned above, obviously). I have an Italian and an international teaching licences and 10 years' experience teaching English. METHODS(+experience) My teaching methods change according to the students. In classes of teenagers and adults I prefer using the inductive method, that is to say presenting the students with texts and have them discover the structure of the language. That is a great way for students to easily remember how the language works. It is considered the best method nowadays, still it is not the best in all circumstances. I have studied languages for a loooong time and I know what I want as a student. In 1 to 1 classes or in classes with few students it will be possible to adapt to the students' needs. I have a degree in foreign languages and literatures. I studied Spanish literature (of Spain) and postcolonial literature in English, so I can help you with that too. I have experience in teaching the Trinity and Cambridge exams and myself took the TOEFL, IELTS and Trinity. And I am planning to take the DELE C1 in June. Finally, I have a certificate in teaching Italian as a foreign language. MATERIALS Anything! In class I use the textbook to remain on track but I like my students to experience the culture of the language they are studying directly thorough the so-called authentic materials: songs, literature (novels, plays, poems, etc.), articles, films, social media...anything, I said! NATIVE: Italian STUDIES: Adria, Italy - High school: English, French & German Venice, Italy - University (Foreign Languages and Literatures): English, Spanish & Portuguese Brigthon, England - Erasmus at Sussex University Venice, Italy - CEDILS (Certificazione in didattica dell'italiano a stranieri) Venice, Italy - Teaching licence in Italian state schools (TFA) Derry, Northern Ireland - CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) WORK EXPERIENCE Venice, Italy - 9 years teaching ESL and literature in state schools Córdoba, Spain - 1 year (current) teaching ESL in an International House, private school

I am from Rome but I am based in London where I work as a Language tutor. I am a passionate and enthusiastic Italian and Spanish Teacher. I... offer language lessons to all levels (A1 - C2) whether you want to improve your language for fun, for your school exams, as a preparation for GCSE, A-Level, or citizenship exams. I have more than two years of experience in teaching Italian and Spanish online both through one to one lessons and in larger classes. I always use supporting digital resources and PP presentations in a very interactive way to make learning grammar clearer and enjoyable. Also, one of my strong points is the creation of clear explanatory tables on grammatical rules. I hold a DITALS qualification (Teaching Italian as a foreign language) from the University of Siena. I studied “LANGUAGE TEACHING L2/LS” and I have been trained at ‘Torre di Babele’, one of the oldest and most renowned Italian schools in Rome. I graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome (Letters and Philosophy 110/110 cum laude), with a thesis which has been in part published in the Italian magazine ‘Teatro e Cinema Contemporaneo’, Magazine number 15 of May 2013. I grew up bilingual having a Spanish-speaker mother from Argentina. I also spent a few months living and working in Barcelona (Spain), where I refined my accent and my grammar. In addition to this, I took Spanish at university passing the language exam with 30/30. I teach Spanish, applying my own successful method to the lessons. I always plan in advance my lessons very carefully. I would be pleased to know whether you would like to learn Italian or Spanish and build the lessons around useful programs for your exams or topics that might interest you, following the goals you might be interested in. I believe in the Communicative Method I have been trained for, and I really think it is easier to learn new languages if you have a good time doing it.

I am a qualified Italian native teacher with 7 years experience as a second language teacher. I lived and worked in Spain and recently in Italy... teaching groups and 1:1 to bilingual students (spanish/basque) but I have previous experience with english and french L1 students at every level. I offer costumed-tailored lessons according to your level and goals. I am happy to discuss your needs before you commit to the course. During the week I send you material such as articles and videos and depending on your level we will work on grammar, vocabulary or speaking based on what I sent you. At the end of the class you will receive a sheet with the most relevant grammar topic and vocabulary met in class and your mistakes with corrections in order to keep track of your improvement and make it easier for you to review what was important in each class. A level test will be sent to you once we agree on our first lesson.
