During my university studies, I did an internship as an Italian language teacher in Poland. This four-month experience allowed me to deal with... non-native students of all levels, from A2 to C1, and to prepare customised lessons to achieve various objectives such as language certifications or improving the Italian language for the workplace. In addition, I have six years of experience as an English tutor for primary and secondary school students. I would describe my style as highly adaptable, as I believe each student is unique. From my perspective, the best way to help students achieve their goals is to listen to their needs and create a personalised lesson plan that suits their learning styles. During my lessons, I use different language tools to make learning fun, such as educational games, quizzes, songs, and audio-visual materials. Read more

Italian mother tongue offers some aid for any level of Italian. I graduated in languages (English, Chinese), so I teach English and Chinese... lessons at affordable prices. My methodology is based on a first understanding of the theory (eg. The simple grammar rule), on a subsequent analysis of the examples and, finally, on the application of the theory by the student. The ultimate goal is to make the student independent not only in carrying out an exercise, but also in the production of utterances and texts in the studied language. - Online lessons. -Possibility of face-to-face lessons (if travel permits). Hello everyone, I am Giulia and I am Italian. All of my education has been gravitating towards languages, not only because of my strong... desire to communicate effortlessly with people from other countries and getting to know more about their cultures, but also for my interest towards the structure of every language itself. Since the beginning of my high school years I have been studying and absorbing grammar and literature of Ancient Greek and Latin. This allowed me to improve my grammar basis and made my passion for it grow stronger. Meanwhile, I was carrying out the study of English, French and Spanish, on my own. Later on, those languages have been the center of my studies at the University of Turin. After graduating in 2016 in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, I decided to move to Boston, United States, in order to experience what speaking another language really means and to know more about a new culture. During my stay, not only had I the possibility to reach an advanced level of English, but I also improved my Spanish and, to a lower extent, my French, having the possibility of practicing them daily. In August 2017, I moved to Spain, where I attended a Masters in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpreting in Public Services offered by the University of Alcalá (Madrid). Throughout my education I had the possibility to deepen my knowledge of the mentioned languages, to learn how to translate and interpret and I had the chance to learn more about linguistics as well. I am now fully fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. I am a translator at core and I have been a translator intern for CIDA’ archives in Alcalá de Henares, in Spain, using different language combinations. In 2018, I moved to Portugal, where I have been working for Accenture as a Business Analyst. Meanwhile, I have been translating for YOKO Translate and for WonderWords and I have been working as a translator for private clients. I have also been teaching English for 8Belts, a Spanish company which base its courses on the e-learning. Moreover, I have autonomous students who mainly want to learn Italian, English or Spanish. I learnt myself four languages my own way, giving importance to the grammar, but focussing also on other aspects which are usually a bit underrated, such as vocabulary and listening. I have myself created games and teaching strategies to help my students get better results, although the method is adaptable to every specific situation. For teaching, I use some manuals depending on the level of the student, but also personal material I have been collected during the years or created. My method is a mix of standard and original learning strategies and I hope you'll have the chance to join my course and take advantage of them. I hope my skills, motivation and commitment make me the right teacher for you. If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration. Best Regards, Giulia Genovese Read more
