Hi everyone!! I am Stefania, an enthusiastic and curious 33-year-old Language Teacher who lives in Bologna. I adore travelling, cooking and... getting to know new people, languages and cultures. I would define my teaching philosophy to be personalised, interactive and based on posing questions and fostering critical thinking rather than on giving answers in the first place. I believe in the importance of repetition and focus on all 4 areas of competence, for example choosing a subject and adressing it through listenings, writing of texts, readings, speaking activities (role plays & simulations) so that the vocabulary and language structures can be dealt with under different perspectives and repeated / practiced and corrected enough to be memorised in authentic contexts. The use of visuals (images, colors, video etc.), games, mind maps and summary tables can also extremely helpful. My name is Duscovich Daniele and I am perfectly native in Italian and German. Learning a foreign language is like practicing a sport: to... achieve a good level you have to practice and not to give up at the very first difficulty. It will be necessary to develop various skills, among which: speaking comprehension, reading comprehension, listening comprehension and written expression. A language has to be learnt actively and “lively”: the language should not remain on paper, but you have to breath it, to feel it and to make it your own. To help my students in this “training”, I use material I chose and prepared according to the single cases: grammar exercises, books, grammar books, material found on the Internet, videos, and CDs. I am a German native, married and based in Strasbourg, France. Over 17 years  teaching experience in various schools, training agencies and... companies have allowed me to gain a solid pedagogical approach that ensures together with application and hard work on the student’s part efficient and fast progress in language learning.  EXAM PREPARATION You have an exam coming up or you need a certificate at a certain level to get accepted to an university in Germany or to get a promotion in your career? I have a good history of students who have past their exams successfully in their own time.  Mnemonics and precious tipps to facilitate grammatical points that seem often very complex and indigestible will help you to get over the stumbling blocks. Interesting audio and video materials will spice up the learning process. After all: Only that what makes fun will stay longer. Plenty of drill exercises aimed at and adapted by myself to certain exam papers are another useful means to make headway. What is most appreciated by my students preparing for an exam are for example the wide range of small written statements on a typical exam subject that helps to better understand how you could respond to a task, how to organize your text, how to link up your phrases, paragraphs, thoughts and arguments and which turn of phrase or working works best to underpin your opinion.  And if I have not written an example I often write one within one or two days. To top it all, they are followed by useful vocabulary training of all words and turn of phrases that are in that text.  I cover most of the official German certificates such as Telc, TestDaF, Goethe Zertifikat and WiDaF at all levels.  CONVERSATIONAL SKILLS For those wanting just to improve their conversational skills, I offer a special package at a special rate (-15% on my standard rate). The focus will be on oral skills, speaking, pronunciation, intonation, expressions used in everyday spoken language, common sayings and other useful idioms. Grammar will be briefly explained where necessary without follow-up exercises.  JOB INTERVIEW You have been invited for a job interview in German and you would like to brush up your skills? I can help. I have had a great number of candidates of all walks of life, most of them from the management segment. This will not only be a revision of your German knowledge as the cultural aspects of German interviews are intrinsically intertwined and must not be neglected. Therefore, in order to get the most out of this training, the linguistic part will go hand in hand with coaching on technical and cultural aspects of a job interview held in German. We will go through typical questions that will be asked. If your job is very technical or particular, you may of course, write the questions you think you will be asked sent to me, and we will rehearse it together.
