Conversation classes with a native and verified teacher
Exam preparation with online classes and lessons from a certified teacher: French - TEF
I am a native speaker of Italian with a degree in European Language and extensive teaching experience. I have been based in Milton Keynes for... the past 10 years. I have been tutoring Italian and French on a freelance basis for seven years. Due to the fact that I freelance, my clientele has ranged from students of ten to sixty years of age which has given me the opportunity to sculpt my lessons around individual needs whether they are business, pleasure, or academic. I have seven year experience in both GCSE and A level tutoring for French and Italian . I also keep myself up to date with changes and developments to GCSE and A level specifications with the major exam boards. I am passionate about languages and they are an important part of our experience when we travel. My own language journey started at school and it has continued since then. Languages are all about communication and rapport and establishing that with students is key to ensuring success and enjoyment and thus an ability to talk openly about individual needs and requirements. I would like to think that I put students at ease and make language learning fun and try to ensure that they feel that they can approach me with any question related to their learning. I think that a good tutor can alter his pupil's learning method to fit them and their needs. It’s not just on tutoring style fits all. Tutors will do whatever is necessary in order to help their pupils with the information. I use authentic study materials to teach French and Italian such as articles from magazines and newspapers, I show pictures and ask my students to explain them, I also use audio files and YouTube link. I provide situational language and my students are always exposed to real discourse. Read more
