Hello, My name is Anne-Laure and I have been a French teacher for over 10 years now. I teach at any levels from A1 to C2, if you wish to learn... just for the pleasure of learning a new language or preparation for DELF exams. I'm not only teaching adults but also I do like teaching children and teenagers. I worked for several years in multilingual schools or language centers with children. Thanks to my experience, I can adapt my courses to the needs of everyone: a conversation course to practice and exchange, a course to obtain a specific level or lessons centered on language grammar. In my classes I can use a method or authentic documents, it depends on the needs of each student. The focus is on oral production and oral comprehension during lessons and then on written production in self-employment. The learner has an active part in his learning. Please read the following lines to learn more about me, my teaching methods as well as the documents I use for my lessons. 1. Who am I ? I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish language, literature and civilization. I have done several internships to teach Spanish as a foreign language, in schools and high schools in France and also to teach French as a Foreign Language (Enseñanza Secundaria Obligatoria and Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria, Spain). Thanks to my studies as an Erasmus student in Cordoba, Andalusia (Spain) as well as my internships in Spain, I speak Spanish fluently. In 2020, I have run several conversation workshops online with B2-level students, from the Pedagogical and Technological University of Tunja, Colombia. I also speak English. I am motivated, energetic, rigorous, available at all times and I’m always ready to consider my students’ needs. I know how to adapt my teaching to them, to give them all the chances to excel in learning French. My work is my passion and I always devote all my energy and all my heart to it. 2. My teaching method My teaching method is largely based on the communicative approach. I am also aiming towards the action-oriented approach. In other words … My goal is to help you learn French or Spanish, so that you are autonomous and feel at ease during a conversation with a French or Spanish speaker. To reach this goal, we will work on communication situations similar to that of your daily life and fitting your needs in terms of learning. I create your classes depending on your profile, to get you motivated and to help you reach success. I guarantee a complete transparency on the program we shall follow. We will create it and define it together, during our first session, which is free. We will use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) to set linguistic goals according to the level you want to reach. I like to design the lessons and to add some rituals, to help you learn and memorize more easily. However, I will be listening to your need and demands. 3. Documents and material I use If you choose to have online lessons, we can meet on Skype, Google Meet, Zoom or Webex. I use authentic and semi-authentic documents, found online, in books, newspapers, textbooks, to help you face realistic conditions. We shall vary and have different activities, such as cultural and cross-cultural activities, comprehension activities, writing or speaking activities. Activities focusing on the lexicon, on grammar or on the pronunciation can also be offered, should you need it ; everything will beadapted according to your profile and needs, in order to suit you. Hello, my name is Klára Kormuthová. I work as a teacher from 18, I was giving private lessons and than from 19 I was teaching in languages... school. I studied Russian and French languages in University of Masaryk in Brno. Apart of this languages I teach Slovak language for foreigners. I use different materials - students books, my own materials, depending on the student, because I choose teaching method individually. I like to teach, if possible, with authentic materials, focusing on the contemporary use of the language. I try as much as possible to simulate... real situations in my lessons. However, as formal grammar learning is often more than necessary, I do not neglect this point. Even though I have my own opinion on the most effective ways to learn French, I try to adapt as much as possible to the student's personality, the way they like to learn languages, and their objectives.
