Hello! I am Teacher Bevei, I teach English and Filipino. I am a Master's Degree Holder, Master of Science in Teaching English, and TEFL... certificate holder. I can teach English and Filipino here in CoLanguage. I have been teaching in the academe for five years now and experienced teaching foreign students in an ESL Company. I teach students from 13-20 years old back in the academe and I used to teach students from 5-40 years old in my past ESL company. I vary in my styles and methods in teaching because I always consider my students' abilities and levels. As a teacher, I need to meet the needs of my learner to have well-rounded, fun, and satisfying lessons or discussions. I always make sure that in my class my students will always engage and do more of the talking than I. I act as a facilitator and a catalyst only. I am fond of giving fun and enjoyable drills or activities that will establish mastery and practice of the lesson learned. I always appreciate my students' performance and effort. I also use TPR’s (Total Physical Response) in my class for the communication to be easily understood and I also enable my students to share their thoughts freely. I do give feedback in a constructive way to help my learner improve. I was able to teach from zero-level learners to advance learners, as my students' age ranged from 3 years old to 60 years old. I can offer to teach Tagalog And English language. Method of my teaching for Filipino language should start by learning the Filipino alphabet .... Material for teaching is books or textbook. I don't have an educational degree but I've experienced teaching and explaining certain things in a company that I worked before, just like a speaker and lecturer. That's why I like to teach and speak in public whether it's only one or in numbers . I also love talking with different kinds of people's races and culture, and at the same time, I also learn from them while I'm teaching. I live in Mandaluyong City. I also had a 120 hours of TEFL Certificate. Over the last two years, I work as a product designer in several online marketplace. I mainly teach kids aged 3-10 years old. I use TPR or what they called Total Physical Response, because I believe it makes the class fun and engaging. Flashcard is one of my teaching material as well.
