I am an English (ESL) and Italian (ISL) teacher working at a multinational company operating in the language learning market, with training... centers all over the world. I have earned a Master's Degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Education at the University of Bologna and I have several years of experience in education, working in different fields and holding various positions, such as school tutor, pedagogue, and teacher at a language learning center, working with adults (e.g. Corporate/Business English) and children/teenagers at public/private schools (from pre-school to high school). I have also studied in France (Universitè Paris X), USA (Vassar College, NY), experiences that have led me to have a high command of English and French. During my university years, I also participated in pedagogical research projects abroad, in particular in Sweden and New York, to study different educational approaches with pre-school children. Thanks to these experiences I have developed a pedagogical method that can be adapted to the specific needs of adults and children, helping them to find the learning method that best suits their necessities. My methodology is based on learning by doing, i.e. learning through action: the student is placed in the center of the learning process, in a context in which they will be led to put into practice the skills they have acquired, even in the case of beginners, through a real immersion in the English/Italian language. Lessons are conducted entirely in English to allow the students to strengthen their speaking, reading, and listening comprehension skills since the very beginning of the course. Greetings dear student, My name is Alberto Pérez. I am an English teacher with honors at the Universidad Experimental Libertador in... Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I have ample experience (7 years) teaching hundreds of students the English language with several methods for teaching it. This has been always making learning more suitable and easy for students. Hello! just some info to better understand my method: I carry out an accurate needs analysis during the 0 lesson to find out the learner's... level, background, learning habits and style, hobbies and interests and their needs. I prepare a course design to be discussed with the learner with the major points I think should be covered in the course, on the basis of the needs analysis mentioned aboveI use articles, videos and tools such as kahoot, padlet, quizlet, TED talks and so on to make my lessons varied and dynamicI provide clear examples and explanations of the target language As I said in the video, I teach English and Italian for all levels + business English/Italian, exam preparation classes, business skills and English/Italian for Specific Purposes (logistics, HR, pharma...).
