Conversation classes with a native and verified teacher
Exam preparation with online classes and lessons from a certified teacher: Dutch - NT2
Dear student, Welcome to my profile. In order to learn Dutch, German or English, you have traced the right teacher. My name is Frank and I'm... from Belgium. My mother tongue is Dutch. I graduated as a master translator and I have gathered years of international sales experience, mainly in the German language. I'd like to work in an empathic way: What language are you eager to learn, for what purpose? How do you feel about mastering that language now? What is your favorite learning method? What exactly do you want to learn: vocabulary, grammar, syntax, speaking, writing? From my practical experience I extract the necessary phrases that can easily be applied to start a relaxed conversation in the foreign language with a minimum of knowledge. I use a tailor-made manual, we do a number of exercises together and we watch recently made videos on the internet which will be discussed afterwards. At the end of each lesson, I provide a few minutes of free speech practice. Together, we converse and dialogue in the foreign language and put into practice that what we have just learned. I believe it is important to build a good relationship with my student in order to make progress on a sound basis. Read more

I am a very well-travelled and experienced entrepreneur. I speak 7 languages, of which four fluently. It would my pleasure to help you improve... your Japanese, Portuguese or Dutch (or English, for that matter). In the past I've done quite a bit of teaching. For example, in Japan and the Netherlands I taught English to Japanese businesspeople. In addition, I have taught Japanese Culture to HBO (polytechnic) students and to employees of big corporates in the Netherlands. As an entrepreneur I have also supervised many interns at WO (academic), HBO (polytechnic) and MBO (vocational school) levels. In the past 20 years I managed my own ice cream factory and simultaneously worked as a production supervisor Japanese television throughout Europe. In the course of these activities, I always benefitted greatly from my language skills. Although I love sharing and transferring knowledge, I am not your typical teacher. That is why I prefer to teach advanced or intermediate students of the abovementioned languages, rather than beginners. In the past I’ve often used newspapers / articles as a basis for conversation / language classes. Of course I’d be delighted to discuss the method best suited for you in a free trial lesson. Hello there! My name is Jan, and I'm a language professional living and working in Brussels. After studying linguistics and literature, I... started working in the private sector, where I tailored language trainings for companies. After a few years, I decided to validate my didactic skills with a CELTA. I'm still on the job with the same enthusiasm as ever! My mother tongue is Dutch, but French and English are like a second skin to me :) Would you like a first (free!) introduction to my teaching methods? Have questions? Then hit me up! Read more

As non-native parents it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or to help with the fluency of the new language. Who wants some... extra exercise for his children? I can help you with that. As their vocabulary becomes more and more extensive and their sentences become increasingly fluid, your children will get more and more self-confident. To speak well the Dutch language will surely benefit them now and later. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why also adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Read more
