My goal is to make you confident and comfortable around others when speaking in English.
My academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master of Business Administration. In the last 20 years I have been training people in English from many different industries - including Telecommunications, Publishing, Energy, Financial, Government, Entertainment, Construction, Pharmaceutical, Legal, Logistics. Consultancy, Insurance, Human Resources.
I have helped people prepare for presentations, negotiations, examinations and conducted workshops to assist in how to optimise written and audio communication and informal conversation "small talk".
My methodology depends on you and how you feel you can best learn. For that I would greatly appreciate your input. There are many different learning styles and we have a good forum to use many of them.

For more than 15 years I have been working as a language teacher in Istanbul, Berlin and Hamburg.

After studying Spanish Linguistics at the University of Ankara, I trained as a language teacher for Turkish and Spanish at the DILMER language school in Istanbul.

My methodology focuses on the language skills of the students.
Grammar is trained through direct application and thus stays in the memory.
History, culture and literature offer us a lot to talk about and soon you will become confident in using the language.

Learning a language means learning to speak!

It took me a long time to find my real passion in my (work) life. After studying in two universities, graduating in two bachelors, travelling the world and working abroad for several years I realized public education is where my heart lies. I went for the third time back to the university to get my teachers degree.

I have been a classroom teacher for 5 years in Dutch primary schools before I moved 4,5 years ago abroad to Colombia where I became specifically an English teacher. I am specialized in teaching in pre-, elementary, middle (secondary) and high school. I have been teaching in all different grades and all primary subjects in English and got specialised in Teaching English as a second language. Most schools where I have been working were inspired by the philosophy of 'Vygotsky'. 
A philosophy and methodology I also use in my private classes. Therefore they are dynamic and adapted to your personal needs.

Working in the Netherlands and Colombia in education and in several countries worldwide have allowed me to gain a variety of skill sets. These experiences also have provided me with the tools necessary for working abroad and online including adaptability, patience, dedication to my peer’s success, and respect for cultural and societal norms. Learning English as a second language from someone that is trained to teach the language like this and also once has learned the language herself as a second language (as my native language is Dutch), gives me a lot of benefits in comparison of learning the language from a native speaker.

Aside from this being my day to day job already for the past 10 years in Bilingual primary, middle and high schools, I started private classes to teach English as a second language in the afternoons. I am new to this platform as I haven't offered my services in the past through an official platform. With the recent changes worldwide I thought it is a good moment to focus more on online teaching and decided to dedicate all my time at the moment on online teaching. Hi! I'm Andrés. I've been a language teacher since 2005. I'm also CELTA certified but more importantly, it's my experience as a teacher, as well as being a learner of Japanese (intermediate), Chinese (intermediate) and now Finnish (super basic, just started), that counts. I feel it's crucial to be in the students' shoes to better teach them and recommend resources, habits, and techniques that actually work.

My teaching methods include a lot of input through listening, texts, followed by guided practice based on the material. Grammar is taught in a complimentary way, but the main focus is input and communication. I follow CEFR topic order so that students can see how their knowledge scaffolds along.

The materials are picked from the internet depending on the student's needs and interests, be they work, travel, study, or just for fun. I like to include videos about different topics like culture, business, life hacks, news, interesting facts, science, love and relationships, among others, with intermediate/advanced students, and communicational dialogues with beginner students.

I am French and works as a tour guide in Bordeaux and I am also teaching English, French and Japanese languages to adults and children. I started working as a teacher at Berlitz School when I
living in Japan to learn the culture and we had to use Berlitz method to teach, using sometimes pictures to introduce new vocabulary and others kind of tools for grammar...
The result is just amazing ! With that method , the students improve themselves very quickly. So now I am still doing the same and depending on the request, adapt the method. However, the main part of my lesson is based on conversation.

I am an Italian native professor with a teaching experience of more than 15 years and I have been living in Spain for 10 years. I have a Master and a Phd in Spanish Philology and I can teach Italian and Spanish language and literature. I focus on a strong grammar basis and a wide range of vocabulary to allow conversation on a great variety of topics. I bring my students lots of texts and homework so they can practise writing and reading and I keep in contact with them betweem one classe and the other one. My name is Karolin and since the beginning of 2017, while I was still living in Chile, I've been giving online classes. I really enjoy my work and it gives me the privilage to get to know people from all around the world, which is amazing.

Both in English and in German, I teach classes for beginners and advanced students. I speak Spanish fluently, but as I lived in Chile for around 5 years, both my pronounciation and my choice of words are influenced by that. I learned and teach the european Spanish but only for beginners (A1/A2). But if you don't mind the chilenean influence, I do teach to a higher level as well.
