Ciao a tutti! / Hi everybody!
My aim is to assist you in your Italian language training. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or advanced learner, I will be guiding you through the difficulties of Italian language. Before attending university, I have studied at "Liceo Classico" high school: which is high-quality institution in the field of Italian culture and literature. I love the richness of words and the complexity of the Italian language, and my dream is to convey this passion to you. I already had informal experiences of teaching Italian when I was studying in Brazil and in Russia, and I am now ready to have Italian class with you ;)
In particular, my classes will focus on:
- grammar (regular and irregular verbs, nouns, adjectives, pronouns, sentence structure, texts);
- exercises (writing, comprehension, mock exam in preparation for a certification etc...);
- dialogue and conversation (this is the best way to learn a language! I will speak to you in Italian as much as I can);
- news and readings in Italian (I will provide you with links of articles and readings form Italian newspapers and magazines, depending on your personal interests and passions).
A key point of my Italian classes is flexibility! In particular, I will be ready to adapt the course to your personal interests. In fact, if you are at least intermediate learner, you can decide to focus the course on:
- tourism (are you travelling to Italy? I will teach you how to order food at the restaurant, ask information in the city center and I will give you a general overview of Italian food and wines!);
- business and finance in Italy (FIAT, Barilla, De Cecco, ENI, Eataly, the wine export, the fashion sector, the small business of high-quality food production... are you interested in Italian economy and production system? I will help you with the vocabulary in this field!);
- culture (Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci, Verdi, Vivaldi, Armani, Gucci, Versace... do you know these guys? I will help you to improve your vocabulary in the field of fine arts, music and fashion)
- politics and international relations (Italy is the third country in the EU by population and GDP. Focusing on Italian politics can be interesting... no?);
- italian automotive: I live close the so-called "Italian MotorValley", where Ferrari, Ducati and Bugatti were fouded. Do you want to learn more on this? I will give you specific lessons on the automotive vocabulary in Italian.
Are you into the preparation of an Italian language certification exam? I am able to guide you through the preparation, correcting texts, assisting your learining progress and checking your level for each of the skill tested.
