My name is Jean-Philippe. I was born in Paris in 1965. Now you can calculate my age !
I live in Thailand since 1996 and started to teach French in this country at a university level in 1999.
I can speak English and Thai fluently.
Apart from travelling and cooking, I love photography, music, poetry, languages, linguistics and philosophy.
I am not a musician, but I like to play blues harp and jam with friends !
My concern for health and environment brought me to start the project of a pedagogical organic farm where kids will have the possibility to learn different languages in a natural environment.
So I became a farmer ! But I am still a teacher, eager to share his passion for French language with learners of the world !
Teaching approach
At first, I will talk with you to identify your profile, goals and needs. To facilitate the communication, we'll talk in English (or in Thai).
In a second step, I will assess your level and define a work plan.
This work plan will enable you to develop the skills you wish to develop (Reading, Writing, Speaking and/or Listening) through progressive and well structured lessons.
One of my priorities is to make you enjoy learning, so I will adapt my teaching materials to your areas of interest and to your learning style.
As a doctor in linguistics, I look at French language as a beautiful system, and one my greatest pleasure as a teacher is to make you understand how it works and how to use it.
The pronunciation, the vocabulary and the grammar of French language are an exciting world to explore.
As you explore it with me, this language world will become more and more familiar to you. Finally, it will become yours !
