Hello everybody,

My name is Simona, I am a creative, passionate and dedicated modern language specialist; I love communicating, traveling and discovering different cultures. I am driven by a passion for Sociology: I love living with and learning about different people and the way they live and express their essential being.

This has led to my interest and research in the use, theory and practice of modern languages. I’m fascinated by different languages, dialects and ways of looking at the world: each one is valuable and inter-related, providing us with a rich multi-coloured world full of culture and history.In founding My aim is to provide a resource to facilitate international commerce and multi-cultural communication. My underlying aspiration is to promote equality and understanding between people of different nationalities and cultures and to enable fluent global communication.

I can designed a learning programme specifically for you, considering your purpose, background and final goals. I have developed an innovative method that allows you to learn easily and practically, in which you will be able to speak from the first lesson and through which you will drastically increase your ability and confidence level. 

My approach is based on "the Active Learning Process”, which consists of skipping the traditional grammar focused lessons that are often unsuccessful and off putting, and avoiding literal translations between the two languages which slow down learning.

This learning scheme consists of associating the new words directly to thoughts instead of translating to the corresponding native language idiom: the word in your new language will be stored in your brain as a proper entity, and not as a translation of something else. I do love grammar but I prefer working with images, feelings, and actions instead of spending ages filing an exercise book, and our goal is to help our students to express their thoughts and feelings spontaneously, without any mental translation process.
