Romanian is a Romance language so if you know Spanish/ Italian, they are 70% similar to the Romanian language therefore the learning process will be easier.
Learning the Romanian alphabet is crucial to your fluency because the Romanian writing system is the basis of everything in the language. You read Romanian letters, you use them when you write, and you hear them when you listen.
