Certified mother tongue English teacher with 10+ years experience

Hi there! I'm Elizabeth and I have been working as an English teacher in Milan, Italy for over 10 years. I have a double degree of Law and Commerce from the University of Queensland in Australia and I am CELTA certified for English language teaching. In 2021 I became certified as a Life Coach and Solution Focused Coach.

My passion is understanding my students interests and learning styles, working with them to create personalized programs to achieve their goals. I specialize in Legal English (collaborating with several law firms in Milan, also with judges and notaries) and Business English. I’ve worked with consultancy professionals (at McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG), and finance professionals (at Goldman Sachs and Banca Sella). I love teaching people from all walks of life (my students are doctors, lawyers, athletes, film and fashion industry professionals, artists, real estate agents and VIPs). I also have many years experience in preparing professionals and students (of Bocconi, Politecnico, Cattolica, IED) for exams such as IELTS, CPE, CAE, FCE, PET and KET.

I provide English learners with tailored accent modification and communication growth strategies. My lessons are also a canvas to fill with the student in the way they prefer: ranging from grammar to pronunciation to vertical themes such as preparation of CVs and interviews, successfully managing meetings in English and quickly improving understanding in business contexts (video conferences, foreign accents etc). I also edit and proofread documents and websites.
