I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for fifteen years. I've lived many years outside of my country and, therefore, I know exactly how it feels to live in a place where a language other than your own is spoken. On the other hand, my experience as a student of English, Portuguese and Hebrew, helps me to understand the process and the difficulties in acquiring a second language.
I studied Social Communication, precisely because I have always been interested in interacting with people and I am also a Senior Technician in Tourism.
My lessons are personalized and adapted to the needs of my students. I have experience at all levels but I'd rather teach intermediate and advanced women.The classes address the four competences of the language (oral and written expression and oral and written comprehension). However, I always put the emphasis on communication and on the pragmatics of the language. I want my students to speak a lot from the very begining and I want them to learn the uses of language in context. Therefore, we deal with both "linguistic" subjects as well as customs and uses.
Humor is the hallmark of classes, for me, enjoying the process is the most important thing ... both on my part and on the part of my students.
