My name is Zara. I was born in Armenia. After getting my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Melitopol State Pedagogical University, in Ukraine, I came back to Armenia and worked first as an interpreter at the Republican Telecommunications Center, then became a lecturer at the Northern University in Yerevan, Armenia. Over the years my passion for teaching has been growing. Since 2014 I’ve been working at UWC Dilijan, the international college where we have students from 85 countries. I teach Russian ab initio (from scratch) and Russian A Literature. I am an experienced teacher who is flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities at the same time. I consider myself a productive worker who exerts optimal effort to ensure that all objectives and tasks given to me are completed on time and to the highest standards. One of my strongest points is my self-motivation which allows me to perform well under pressure. I have good organizational skills.
I love reading, travelling and getting to know new people. I enjoy teaching and learning at the same time because learning a new language opens windows to a new culture. And when it becomes hard, just remember that WE ALL SMILE IN THE SAME LANGUAGE!
