Teacher Jennie is easy to approach with. I prefer a light and positive atmosphere classroom where we can talk, learn and share ideas and experiences instead of feeling pressured like the usual set-up of the classroom nowadays. I believed that in order to learn a new language faster, we need to use it often. Here are some of my teaching styles that I hope will help my students learn Filipino (Tagalog) faster.
* I use some audio clips where students can here the correct pronunciation of words.
* More conversation in class (real-time talk or video)
* I also use pictures and flashcards
* I believed that "Word of the Day" will be helpful every meeting. New word unlock in Filipino (Tagalog)
* For me to assess if my students are learning, I also have assignments, quizzes etc. for them.
