I generally use an inductive-communicative method (from language to grammar rule). I like to mix tradition and innovation, communication and culture. Having said that, I think that the method must be adapted to the specific characteristics and motivations of the learner to keep his interest and attention high.
The materials I use are varied, relying on the manuals and countless resources available on the web.
I like to create exercises and activities designed specifically for the student and I find it very important to stimulate reading (also making use of graded and adapted to the learner's level).
